1- employees should have experience of the job 2- customers shouldn't park the trucks for the employee. 3- is not dmv to check all the lights in the truck because , the trucks should be inspected by a mechanic for any malfunction , is not customer responsibility.

I called for reserve the truck for next day and the agent told me that she will call me back due to she is busy. I call her again than no answer. The Third time called is still no answer. She never call me back. My wife booked the truck for me.

We did not get treated fairly on our bill. The odometer read 8 miles. Which I'd about right. But we were charged for 4.1 gallons of gas. This makes no sense. The truck must get far better than 2 miles per gallon. We should get some of our money back.

This reservation was a complete mess. The pickup location was changed ON DAY OF PICKUP- the order never got transferred to my assigned pickup. Had to drive 5 miles away to another location, where the clerk did not have record of my reservation, and did not know how to use the ordering system to charge for my accessories- dolly and hand truck. THis was horrible customer service, horrible communication, worse experience ever.

The poor woman working the uhaul service was nice but she hadn't been trained for the uhaul service. It took almost 1 hour to finish pickup. Because she hadn't been trained we had to hook up the trailer ourselves. We were told , kindly, that if we return it early we would get a credit back. That wasn't the case. The trailer was rusty and we had a feeling it had not been service. The hitch was very heavy to lift. Good thing my husband and son where there since they had to do the lifting. Also, I ordered the trailer from our local, neighbor market , moss beach and asked for a one day rental. After numerous holds. They had to call me back three times I ordered it. But the communication was very difficult and my questions weren't fully answered so I didn't know exactly what I was getting. I tried to make sure it was a covered trailer due to pissibkevrain The trailer leaked and our antique furniture got water damage. I wasnt verbally informed about the not water proof by any of the reps I talked to and only saw that info when I read the contract. Very frustrating experience. The woman in San Mateo was very nice and was only in her 2nd week. She was appreciative that we knew how to hook up a trailer. More training and better communication is needed !

Not the easiest location to get into... I was told I could return my rental at another location with no extra charge (not true). I rented this trailer with the intention of picking up in one location, was moved to another location 20min further away, and not allowed to return it to the location nearest me.

Was completely overcharged for my rental. Only drove 65 miles and was charged for 135. Left the truck with almost 1/2 a tank of gas and the report stated that I left it 1/8 a tank. Filed a customer complaint, will dispute credit card charges and file a BBB claim as needed.

Very hard to get into. I had a friend there to pick me up who couldn't get off the busy road to get in the lot and then the guy wanted her to move. There was another one just down the road that actually had a bigger lot that I would have tried if I had known.

U-Haul should close this store. I waited for over an HOUR just to get checked in because the computers were not working. Instead of dropping back to paper check in I stood there in a store that is such a mess I did not want to touch anything. The first van provided would not accept a key; I think someone broke the ignition it looks like there is metal in it. The second van performed fine, but was damaged when I picked it up with a broken driver's side mirror. And, now because checkin was so difficult, it looks like I will be charged TWICE for a single reservation. If both pending charges post I WILL report one of them as FRAUD! Again.... CLOSE THIS STORE so no-one has to go through what I went through. Oh, and then to top it off, I could not leave my car parked at the facility..... had to park a half a block away and cross 6 lanes of El Camino Real to get back to the facility.

This place was extremely unprofessional. It took almost an hour to rent the truck because the employee didn't know what he was doing on the computer which led to my son having to do his job on his cell phone. Once everything has finally gone through, I go out to inspect the truck and boy things only got worst. After they take my money, they show me a truck that clearly was recently in an accident. The driver side door, front end and bumper was completely dented in and damaged. The door barely opened and made a horrible sound when opening and closing it. I was so upset after nearly paying $200, this is what they offered me. When I shared my concerns with the employee, he just laughed and basically said you can take it or leave it. This was a horrible experience!!!
