Manager inform me that I can drop off anywhere I want in rocky mount and after drop off I got 33 dollar bill which is incorrect and they should have inform me about this charges

This is not my first rental from this uhaul facility,and I will probably use this facility again but I want this company employees to better understand their companies procedures and policies yesterday when I return the rental fully prepared to pay for the extra time or miles incurred the agents that were there first told me that I owed for 2000 miles at .69 a mile mind you Its a good thing I keep my contract because the mileage on the contact and on the cargo van was no where near 2000 mile. Excusing the fact that I only had the vehicle in my possession for 4 hours and about 30 minutes so there was no way that I could have went over 2000 Miles in that small length of time,now I'm going to pay for the mileage that I incurred over the amount I paid for up front but my thoughts on this is what if I hadn't had contract to back up my rental it would have been on me to prove this because I wouldn't have had any legal or written proof to dispute what your agent was saying the system was showing,and it makes an individual think how many other unfortunate individuals could this have gone completely left with,and because of not so simple error could cost someone financial,and even if your company catches the error and corrects it the time and financial cost to that customer even for as look little as 24hrs could be very costly to them now yesterday if I had excepted his figure it would have cost me over a thousand dollars that would have threw my account into a mess that even once corrected would have taken 7 to 10 days to work out.

Make sure everything is on the truck. I had to go back to the store to get my packing blankets and hand dolly. Other than that, everything was great.

You really need to streamline your rental process. It should be a five minute experience not a twenty five minute experience. Every time I’ve rented from any location it has been a disorganized hassle. None of you employees ever seem to have any initiative. It’s like the customer is a bother to them.

I understand vehicles need to be returned with at least the same fuel level, but when it’s only got 1/4 of a tank to begin with it is extremely inconvenient to pull out of the parking lot and have to stop at a gas station before conducting your move. Also, marking previous damage is all well and good, but driving with a shattered driver side mirror is a bit on the unsafe side. Otherwise the experience was as expected from U-Haul.


Not charge customers for equipment they did not use. I rented a truck to pick up lumber from Lowe’s . I did not use the dolly or blankets in the truck. I returned the truck and was told That I was good and the receipt would be emailed. I was charged for equipment I did not use.

They charged me twice why, I don’t know? When I asked the gentleman who processed my final receipt, $ 102.00 for one day (30.3 miles) with the gas tank the way it was given to me... His reply was he was doing what he was told...
