Take out the trash, have employees available when customers walk in, educate customers on the truck. Other than that this location is good for inter Seattle and the truck was ready at time of pick up. Minor details could be improved

Van smelled like Cat pee. Currently laying down in new bed. New bed smells like Cat Pee. Girlfriend is allergic to cats. Had to go pick up allergy pills this evening. When I made this comment to the service workers they told me they would clean it for the NEXT customer... Nothing about my experience.

It's Seattle so space is at a premium. It was packed, so it was a little tricky to navigate. Maybe keeping the drop off lanes clearer would help. The service was quick and helpful which was great!

I brought the truck back with 5/8 of a tank of fuel. I had checked it out with a 1/4 tank. Which was probably about $50 worth of gas. Then I get charged an addtional $10 of mileage. I was also going do a one-way rental, but the local Uhaul in Marysville did not want the truck, so I returned to the original location.

I was given poor explanation of my responsibilities as a renter and Uhaul's policies regarding return of equipment, which led to my spending unnecessary money on refueling that was not reimbursed. Also, I was charged $80 when I picked up my equipment and was told the remainder based upon my usage would be refunded quickly. My rental was on Friday. It is now Monday, and my remainder has not been refunded.

Horrible experience at drop off. fuel gauge was still at 1/4 tank as we had only driven 30 miles. Knowing that there would not be any fuel charges as the fuel needle had not changed significantly, I VOLUNTEERED to give the employees $10 to put a couple gallons in the truck, because we had given up trying to find a gas station that was open in the very crowded, very busy (Sunday afternoon in Ballard, Seattle WA) neighborhood. Much to my shock, the employee said "oh no, it's going to be $49 dollars". I can assure you that the gas gauge on this older 20 ft truck is not accurate enough to determine whether the needle had moved off of 1/4 tank or not, and I was volunteering to be a good guy and pay for the few gallons that we had used. We left after being extorted for enough money to fill the tank, very dissatisfied with this location and UHaul and the lack of any decency. We were then again shocked and amazed to see a gas station right next to the drop off location, on the opposite side of the UHaul location, that we could not see when we drove in. Your employees never mentioned the fact that there was a gas station next door, nor offered this as an option. This was despicable treatment by your employees, and appalling in general.

The trailer had some dirt left from the previous user that I did not see when I picked up the trailer. Upon check in I was questioned about it, and explained that it was there when I rented the unit. He said ok. There was no cleaning fee, etc. But it should have been cleaner upon pick up. I did the reservation on line, worked fine. Also did the check in on line, "to save time and paper work". The on line check-in didn't seem to make any difference. It was as if I was starting from scratch at the counter in the processing of my paperwork. Next time I won't bother with the on line check in, it seems to be a useless feature.

A larger truck was being checked in as I was checking out and I asked if I could upgrade truck sizes as I had reserved a truck I was worried was not big enough. I was told the igger truck, even though it was not reserved for anyone else, was not available to me because it was on a 'one-way route.' The gentlemen who told me this was unable to explain why I could not upgrade even though the truck was not reserved for anyone else. I asked to speak with a manager but was not told who that would be and was not helped after that, even though I was standing in the lobby waiting. I did not have enough time to discuss the situation with the manager before I had to meet movers at a storage unit. My initial check-in was sub-par as well. The gentlemen 'helping' me was not clear on what I needed to do to check out the truck & he barely made eye contact with me; I felt I was a nuisance to him, instead of a paying customer. I understand if technically the bigger truck was not available. What was most disappointing was the lack of good customer service. This is the second time I've used this UHAUL location and the 2nd poor experience I've had with UHAUL in Seattle. I don't plan on using UHAUL again.
