The girl on staff was great. The manager she called for assistance was a moron and tried to lie. There are no KM charges on trailers, there was a change in the reservation that made it so I got a smaller trailer that was cheaper but the reservation still showed the old price. Thankfully the girl was smart. She figured it out. Manager tried to make excuses and lied making himself look like an idiot.l by saying they estimate the trailer kms and charge for it which is absolutely false.

The trailer was covered in dirt and half frozen to the ground. It wasn't until after I had gotten the trailer on my truck and was starting to hook the chains up that the girl came out and informed me that there was a note on the file that none of the Marker Lights on the trailer worked, but it was up to me if I still wanted to take the trailer. 20 minutes later and some swearing, I fixed the Marker Light problem, and got the trailer Road Worthy (at -20Â°C). Improvement for the future, if the trailer isn't safe for highway use, pull it out of service until it is repaired.

It only had a four pin attachment for the plug in my truck, I had to buy an adapter, took an hour off my time , very inconvenient.

I had reserved it from Rentco tool shed 10 days earlier, when I got there to pick it up , they didn't have one , so at the last minute I had to go find another location. Highly annoying.

The boy at the counter could barely do his job. I told him specifically that I needed the truck for 3 DAYS, he still wrote 2 and now um being overcharged. He had to call his boss for help, he could barely work the system. It took so long!!! I'm pissed.

I think the gas tank should be full at pickup and fill at drop off.

The u-haul rep was very inexperienced. I received my credit card statement on May 15/18 was double charged. I've had difficulty and reaching the agent. Finally he suggested I request a "start a customer action file".Contract # 85505300 Rental date 4/29/2018. Charges on my cc statement are Apr 29 for $67.50 and Apr 30 for $45.15. Charge should only be $67.50 and the unit was returned in the allotted time frame.

It to ok me three visits , for a total of five hours of my time. They did not seem to know what they were doing . Computer problems ,lack of concern for my time. Day of pick up tried to double rental rate. Contract was for $289.90 plus tax. Pick up date I was told it was over $700.00. it took over 1 hour to fix their screw up. I was not offered much of an apology or discount . If I had a different option I would have walked away but I had no time to look elsewhere as I was all ready two hours late getting on the road. If I need rentals in the future I will go to someone else . Very dissatisfied....

Check your computer for proper data. I arranged to use a car dolly for 5.5hours. I picked it up at 2:30, paid for insurance and a days rental as well as a damage deposit of 25 dollars and dropped it off at 8:00 the same day. I washed it and went to pick up the damage deposit and was told I owed more. I then produced my paperwork showing my agreement and that I only used the dolly for 5.5 hours but was charged double for everything. They then told me the manager would look at it in the morning and call and that he would mail me a cheque for the deposit return. They told me it was a problem with the computer system. I believe it is a scam. I haven't heard back from the manager yet. Very disappointed as I was expecting to use the returned deposit for food. Very disappointed with the situation and won't use the location again.

Wanted 24 drop off. Uhaul said yes 24 hours called and verified with location. Location said no when dropped off just after closing. Luckily able to drop. Also, both clerks at pick up and drop off did not help to hitch/unhitch trailer.

Next time have the trailer that I reserved 2 weeks ago. Then maybe I won't have to make two trips and waste more money, more fuel and more time that I could be doing something more fun or time worthy.

Could not review the documents with the employee because the computer wouldn't work. Prior to dropping the vehicle off, we filled the gas tank to over the half way mark (at the gas station beside the Uhaul drop off spot) and when we got our final bill, we were charged for gas because we had not filled it up to over half!!! Almost $50.00. that is not right!!

Clerk had no idea what she was doing, took over two hours to get the rental and i got a call saying the trailer was never dropped off and would be reported stolen.

Had to drive out of town to a smaller community to pick up unit versus having a unit available in Grande Prairie. Unit had dirty windshield and only a 1/2 tank of gas; should provide a full tank like rental car agencies. Added 1/2 a jug of my own windshield washer fluid only to have it all drain out onto my driveway; missing plug? Unit performed well otherwise.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul and will NEVER EVER rent from you and will make sure tons of people know about it using social media I had to show the guy how to use the computer the truck had tons of mud and garbage in it and the passager seat had empty pop bottles all over it.... Only had less then a 1/4 tank of gas they said it was full and had more then 600 km on it that I did not use I only used 52 km and head office says we don't BELIVE you!!! Your fucked uhaul !!! I will make sure this gets out to the media!!

My list of complaints happened are as follows: I called Rentco Tool Shed at (780) 539-9576, their address is 10020 108th Ave, Grande Prairie. I was abruptly told "we don't make reservations." I clarified that I found them on the website, in the same monotone abrupt speech the person said "we don't make reservations." I let her know what I was looking for and asked if she could recommend elsewhere. She said "We don't make reservations, we have all this and that, but I can't promise it'll be here for when you need it." I went to the store the following morning when it opened. While waiting in line - one could feel the tension in the air of how unhappy both the staff and customers were. When waiting - someone said maybe you could be served before me? The staff person said - do you have a reservation? I explained I called and was told they don't make reservations. With a parking lot more than half full of trailers, I was abruptly informed "We have nothing available." I asked where was I supposed to make a reservation as when I called I was told that "we don't make reservations" She just repeated, "We have nothing." I will not return to that location. They need customer service and respectful communication training. The whole staff would benefit from a lesson. I called U-Haul, voiced my complaints, and spoke to a lady from the states (we enjoyed listening to each other speak - the accents) Anyways, found another Uhaul company a half hour out of town that had availability. We arrived an hour early - thankfully so did the customers that used the trailer before us. There seemed to be difficulty with the computer system. Or the person working the computer system to log the other people out and log me in. Maybe he was new to it. Or maybe he wanted to be rid of the Uhaul portion of the business contract. It took 40 minutes to do. Also made an error saying we borrowed a dolly that we didn't. Oh well... Moving is stressful enough, I'm just grateful that there was an option - it all worked out in the end. Thank you for all the effort!
