Did not confirm that UHaul truck was returned for at least two days and did not contact me about the 24 ‘extra’ miles needed to fill my U-Haul in the house I was moving from to the house I was moving to a distance which should have been included in the initial contract. Pick-up location to Departure location to arrival destination.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI PICKED UP THE U-HAUL THURSDAY LATE AFTER NOON THOUGHT ID HAVE TILL AT LEAST WEDNESDAY BUT IT HAD DROP OFF TUESDAY. THERE WERE NO UHAUL PLACES TO RENT FROM EXCEPT SYDNEY AND I HAD TO TAKE IT TO PLENTYWOOD THEN DRIVE TO CALIFORNIA. A DAY LONGER WOULD OF BEEN MORE REASONABLE.
leanna hKeep up the good work!
paul hThis location went above and beyond when U-Haul corporate completely fucked up everything I will no longer use your app it’s trash and your companies reservation policy is bullshit, thank god for the people on the ground at the third party stores
KEVIN B1-Star Review U-Haul Odessa, TX – Bait, Switch, and Total BS If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My experience with U-Haul in Odessa, Texas was a masterclass in bait-and-switch and absolute incompetence. The Billy Hext location quoted me a discounted rate and even made the reservation — great, right? Except when it came time to actually pick up the truck at the University location, everything went off the rails. While I was literally on the phone with the University location confirming details, my credit-card notification pinged for a much higher total than the quote. When I questioned it, their rep casually said, “Oh, that’s just a $300 deposit. It’ll be refunded once you turn the truck in.” Guess what? NOPE. No refund. No deposit. No accountability. Just an inflated charge and a shrug. The two locations apparently can’t communicate, and the customer ends up paying the price. Between the misinformation, the phony “deposit,” and the zero follow-through, this was hands-down one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. U-Haul corporate, if you’re reading this — you might want to check on your Odessa operations, because this mess is giving your whole brand a black eye. Save yourself the stress, lies, and missing money. Rent from literally anyone else.
