Thenlocation and service were fine, it was just too far from where I live. It seems that increasingly as I use u-haul, i am assigned locations that are less and lass convienient. I may start using a different company.

What you can do is not let Spanish Fork Automotive represent U-haul. Steve (the rep there) was horrible. When I first came to pick the truck up the price was not the same quoted to me on the phone and when I explained that to him he said "Well, there's nothing I can do about it, call U-haul" and dismissed me. Almost all (but not *all*) the questions I asked him, his answer was "I don't know"... at one point he said to me "I'm too busy I can't deal with this, call U-haul". I had to leave and come back. After I called U-haul and they corrected the error, I got a ride back there and it was still 75 dollars over the price the customer service rep GUARANTEED me would be the price when I got back to pick up the truck. Steve also at one point said "the tanks at about 1/2, make sure you top it off when you bring it back or you will be charged for gas"... I said "if you're only giving me 1/2 a tank, why do I need to top it off"... he said "oh wait, yeah, you know what I mean". So from the time I was suppose to pick it up, it was just about 3 hours later when I actually left with the truck. Fast forward to the drop off. I damaged the truck the night before I brought it back (truck vs. low bridge)... I wasn't going very fast so it wasn't horrible, but as you can imagine when I brought it back I had a lot of questions as to what I needed to do. I had already called my insurance company to let them know (because I have coverage for it)... but no surprise that every question I had Steve's response was "I don't know, ask U-haul". He told me several times that I could leave and he'd "take care of it"... but I told him I didn't want to just leave without signing something or having some kind of receipt that I returned the truck. I wanted something that noted the truck was clean and the gas was exactly where I was suppose to leave it (it actually was a bit over, but that's fine). He never gave me anything (paperwork wise for me to sign). When I first pulled up he said I'd need to put $300. down until they got an estimate on damage. After we got inside his building the first thing he did was get on the phone and what I heard on my end was him telling someone "it's back but it's damaged", then he said "it's still drive-able" ... it sounded to me like he had someone waiting to rent it. So I asked if he was planning on renting that out without first having the damage assessment done, because what if someone else did something to the truck, there would be no record that it was something that happened AFTER I returned the truck. He just looked at me and said nothing. That made me pretty uneasy that it would happen anyway. He started typing all sorts of stuff on the computer and told me I'd have to put $758 (and change) down so he could "close it out". I asked why it went from $300. to $758. and he said "Well I was just guessing with the $300." Then I asked what "close it out" meant. He didn't answer and he again said I could just leave and he'd t

My answer would be yes for the running and ease of driving the truck, and the inside was clean, well maintained however the windshield and windows had stuff from a tree or bush on it.

Location needs to spend a little more time going over the trailer with the client. When I got home, the trailer plug for the lights, the cable was all worn and all the wires were touching each other. I had to take the time and rewire it so all the lights wouldn't be coming on when you touched the brakes, etc

The truck worked well enough but it is a local only truck and felt like it was going to tip over going around turns and the mileage charges for a local only rental were very high. Overall it worked but I will not rent from this location again.

The location is great and this is the 3rd time I have rented there. My big issue was that my truck that I reserved was not there. The previous person did not return it. I was surprised that they didn't go and find me another truck somewhere else, so I ended up with a pickup with a trailer on the back which made my move much harder. Big disappointment, but they were very apologetic and nice.

I am relatively new here, so I was not prepared for the difficulty I had finding the correct location. There is not a single sign visable anywhere on or near the office which identifies it as a U-haul office. If it was not for the U-haul trucks parked around the office I would never have found it.; The only sign advertises an auto repair place. very poor planning, but I can find it next time,

Return truck and trailers after the business was closed. The parking lot was very clean and organize. Was able to pick a spot to leave truck and trailers. The key drop was easy to find. I decided to call for assistance in returning the truck & trailers. The individual who help me was very friendly and helpful. The second trailer was to be returned to a different location than truck..the person was great and didn’t make me feel foolish with my questions..

Even though its only a little bit a fuel, I think that if it comes in with more than it left with - like a full tank - you should give a credit for that. How in the world can we measure it exactly? Outside of that, everything was great.

It would be nice that the snow wasn't in the bed of the truck. Maybe have a cover or something to keep snow out. Also, have the equipment ready because I drive 5 miles or so before realizing I didn't have it i had to turn around to get it. Which I had to pay for the 10 or so miles because I had to turn around to get the dolly, when it should have already been ready to go when I got there. BIGGEST PEP PEEVE was the fact online it let me order the cargo van so that was what I was expecting to get. When I got there a truck full of snow was what he had ready for me to use. I was moving a bed in it the truck is why I needed to rent a van. Then when I told him I was expecting a van he said no we don't have vans we have trucks. So when I asked for something closed he said it cost more. Maybe a discount or something would have been nice for the fact they didn't state anywhere they don't have vans if you don't have a van avaliable don't offer it, or atleast let people know that it not avaliable in that area. I would have had no problem getting the truck if i was told that was what I am getting other then expecting a van. Wasn't very happy with uhaul. Never had this problem in California. So I don't know if it's utah or if it is just the person I rented from.
