The mileage was wrong they charged me for an extra 2 miles and 8 dollars for gas I put gas in it before I returned it I even took a pic of the mileage and gas gauge

Working with Spanish Auto was a breeze, pulled in checked in, trailer was brought right to the rear of my truck and hooked up by the tech for me. Only problem i ran into was I forgot my trailer light adapter and thought i was out of luck but they sell them there at the shop for a decent price and i was on my in minutes.

I was told to fill the tank with gas before returning the truck, even though they gave me the truck with half a tank, I drove the truck for 12 miles and it took 100.00 to fill it all the way up, called Uhaul to check if they will be willing to return some of the money and they guys told me NO because he will be taking a loss on the rental, so I spent 100.00 on gas plus 85.00 on the rental just to use it for 12 miles. I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone. You will be better off and go with another company . But Never rent from Uhaul.

I absolutely loved my experience at Spanish Auto. They went above and beyond, I appreciate and commend them. But UHAUL, im not a fan of. You guys left us stranded for hours. Worst customer service ever.

The guy here seemed pretty nice. I can’t really say much other than we were frustrated that they charged us after we dropped the truck off with no explanation as to why, but that wasn’t really these guys’ fault.

Don't say insurance coverage is required. It was a couple hour rental and my credit card includes coverage. That seemed slimey and inflated the cost.

I was informed that a 15 foot truck would be sufficient but I received a 20 foot truck. It was so small that I also had to rent two trailers at a great cost to me. Since I originally requested a 26 foot truck. I am not happy about that at all.

8/29 - Made an online reservation for a 15' truck from Provo to SLC with drop-off in SLC. Pick-up time 8:00 am. 8/30 - Got an email saying that my reservation had been changed to a different location and 7 hours later than I had reserved. I was never notified by call/text/email that the truck was changed. I called uhaul reservations immediately and I was told by uhaul reservations department that I should have got a call from the manager of the original reservation location, but I did not. I found out on the day of the reservation that the woman I was talking to about this reschedule had canceled my reservation without my consent or desire to do so. 9/1 - Call into Uhaul reservation to confirm that my truck won't be delayed and I am told my reservation was canceled. I told them I never had canceled it and I needed a truck. Cade Fischer made me a reservation for a truck in Spanish Fork which is a 20 minute drive south of my house. He told me that he would submit a Customer Action for me to get that 20 miles reimbursed to me. I go to get my truck when it is available and the manager at that location tells me that the truck they reserved for me cannot be dropped off in Salt Lake City and so I would not be able to rent the truck. Somehow this manager who was very helpful found me a truck that I could drop off in Salt Lake City. Overall this was a hugely bad experience and has really left me with a horrible outlook on uhaul as a company.

Be more thorough in customer needs. I made a purchase that did not work for my situation and upon returning it, I could not get full refund because it had been used. Had the person assessed my needs better, they could have sold me the correct item.

I made a reservation at 9:30 pm with an authorized dealer in Provo Utah. The associate did not make it accessible for after hour pick up. I then had to drive to Spanish fork to pick up a Uhaul. Then, there were double axel trailer beds blocking the parking lot so I had to call someone to come and remove them. We did not get the U-haul until 11:30, 2 hours after my reservation. It was a terrible experience. I will never use Uhaul again. The gentlemen that helped us was very polite and helpful, but we lost 2 hours of time when we could have been moving.

What you can do is not let Spanish Fork Automotive represent U-haul. Steve (the rep there) was horrible. When I first came to pick the truck up the price was not the same quoted to me on the phone and when I explained that to him he said "Well, there's nothing I can do about it, call U-haul" and dismissed me. Almost all (but not *all*) the questions I asked him, his answer was "I don't know"... at one point he said to me "I'm too busy I can't deal with this, call U-haul". I had to leave and come back. After I called U-haul and they corrected the error, I got a ride back there and it was still 75 dollars over the price the customer service rep GUARANTEED me would be the price when I got back to pick up the truck. Steve also at one point said "the tanks at about 1/2, make sure you top it off when you bring it back or you will be charged for gas"... I said "if you're only giving me 1/2 a tank, why do I need to top it off"... he said "oh wait, yeah, you know what I mean". So from the time I was suppose to pick it up, it was just about 3 hours later when I actually left with the truck. Fast forward to the drop off. I damaged the truck the night before I brought it back (truck vs. low bridge)... I wasn't going very fast so it wasn't horrible, but as you can imagine when I brought it back I had a lot of questions as to what I needed to do. I had already called my insurance company to let them know (because I have coverage for it)... but no surprise that every question I had Steve's response was "I don't know, ask U-haul". He told me several times that I could leave and he'd "take care of it"... but I told him I didn't want to just leave without signing something or having some kind of receipt that I returned the truck. I wanted something that noted the truck was clean and the gas was exactly where I was suppose to leave it (it actually was a bit over, but that's fine). He never gave me anything (paperwork wise for me to sign). When I first pulled up he said I'd need to put $300. down until they got an estimate on damage. After we got inside his building the first thing he did was get on the phone and what I heard on my end was him telling someone "it's back but it's damaged", then he said "it's still drive-able" ... it sounded to me like he had someone waiting to rent it. So I asked if he was planning on renting that out without first having the damage assessment done, because what if someone else did something to the truck, there would be no record that it was something that happened AFTER I returned the truck. He just looked at me and said nothing. That made me pretty uneasy that it would happen anyway. He started typing all sorts of stuff on the computer and told me I'd have to put $758 (and change) down so he could "close it out". I asked why it went from $300. to $758. and he said "Well I was just guessing with the $300." Then I asked what "close it out" meant. He didn't answer and he again said I could just leave and he'd t
