The process of renting was so easy and returning the truck after hours was easy as well. The only issue was the truck had a definite smell to it that was quite unpleasant but probably not much can be done about that.

I was forced to pay the $14 for insurance that I didn't want, I was misquoted, it took 30 minutes almost to pick up the Uhaul, and I had to drive the Uhaul back to pick up my ID that was never given back to me.

The location was fine, but the check in process was terrible. We tried to use the mobile method and it was the worst. Finally someone from the location was found and he was a big help. I would never use the mobile method again and the experience was so bad, I may never use uhal again.

my only complaint is that I ordered the truck from a dealer @2900 w. Kearney Springfield, Mo. because it was close to my home. the dealer visually looks in his lot and tells me he has 1 or 2. then they send me across town to get a truck... why is this?

Employee was 10 minutes late to open the store so my moving team was left waiting until he showed up. No sorry or anything from him. He looked like he rolled out of bed and was hungover. I will never use this location again. Horrible experience. Plus we returned the truck at 1:02 and he was running out the door at 1pm. We just used the drop box to return the key becuase he was in such a hurry to leave. If I was this business owner I would think about finding employees who care. Also, the truck had a busted out headlight. That seems really safe for people using this at night. Thankfully we had it in the morning so it didn't matter to us.


The truck that I was given was damaged and the roof leaked. this was clearly visible that U-Haul knew the truck was damaged and they still issued the truck. probably thinking they could charge me for the damage and get paid double. I feel that U-haul was very deceptive and blatant regarding this rental. The furniture dolly was not in the truck. I was delayed almost 45 minutes getting the truck checked in. I feel that I should receive a discount on the rental due to the damaged vehicle.


Drop off truck two days early. I was not given a credit for dropping it off early. Was not stated in the receipt the correct day I drop the truck off. Pick up tge truck with 3/4 of a tank of gas. I drop it off with a full tank. I was charged because they said I drop it off with less then a half. This location rip me off. I will never use them again. I will also let everyone know to never use them they cheat their customers.


Truck windows were so dirty could hardly see out of them. Appliance dolly was not in truck-had to go back to get it. No one at the window so we just took it. Was told to bring it back by 8:30am. Dropped it off about 1:30am but it was not checked in by them until after noon and we were double charged. We were charged by moving blankets we did not request or receive. They don't know what they're doing. Very upset as we stayed up all night not to get double charged. Grrr.

You can lower your extremely retarded and ridiculous prices. Charging by the mile for an in town move? Are you insane? Personally this will be the last time I use your companies service again. I drove 54 miles. And you charged me an adittional 30 bucks. Your service is a rip off. A complete rip off. The only upside was the awesome woman who was at the desk of this location. She was not only courteous and professional but personable and conversational when I was. Its a shame for them that your pricing is insane.

The rental location erroneously used my reservation (made on 3/22/2014) for another client. My pick-up date was confirmed for 7/31/14 and this rental occurred on 7/19/2014. I had to re-enter a new reservation. I have no idea how this error could have occurred and certainly lowers my confidence in your reservation system.
