The rental location was in a building where 3 other businesses operated. Rental agent was not welcoming and kept walking past us and disappeared into one of the other businesses and there was nobody in the office. After several minutes he reappeared. The transaction was done completely online and I had no WiFi. I received no physical paperwork, so confirming license plates was difficult and taking pictures was impossible. There was no walk around or orientation with the rental agent. After we received the keys he returned to one of the other businesses. Customer service was nonexistent. The windshield was splattered with dead bugs. Luckily it rained on the day we did the most driving which cleaned the windshield.

I did not get the location I selected when I made my reservation. I was not called and notified of the change. Then when I went to the new location, they did not have the dolly’s that I had ordered either. Very disappointing!

ANTHONY VThe business hours indicate they were supposed to be open but no one was around and the business was locked. I had intended on doing in person check-in so if I had questions I could address them, but instead had to sign up (while outside the business in 30 degree weather) for mobile check-in on the app and then it took about 45 minutes total to get the vehicle and finish the check in process. The key was jammed in the lock box to the point I wasn’t able to get it out without breaking the keychain attached. There was snow piled on the windshield and around the vehicle which made it difficult to walk around and take pictures, and without a snow brush, I had to use my hands and arms to push the snow off the windshield. If the business was aware they had upcoming rentals, I feel like they should have gotten the vehicles prepared by at least removing the snow from the windshield. Overall, this was probably my worst experience for checking in and this is not the first uhaul I’ve rented.
