Manager changed my truck rental from a 26 ft to a 20 ft without notifying me. It took over an hour in store to get sorted out to get the proper truck. Poor location as it is a gas station. Have to wait a lot to get service.

Overall, the service was very good and the ladies were quick and helpful. One item worth improvement: this location is paired with a gas station; for obvious reasons, they recommend refilling there. However, all the lower grades of gas had run out, leaving only premium. While it's good to keep premium in the trucks, it can also irk people that they only have the most expensive option. Not specifically a U-Haul item, but worth considering. However, this is not enough to change my opinion of the good service.

First off STOP screwing with your customers. Stratford was amazing. Uhaul online sucks. I ordered a 17’ truck and got a call 2 days before my move from a private number stating I was going to get a 26’ truck. Too big for me. Plus my price was to be double. Not acceptable.

I called the STRATFORD UHAUL vendor on Erie St. Explained my previous and accepted request to drop off in STRATFORD and that the web site said to drop off in KITCHENER. She was EXCELLENT and said to drop off on Erie St and she would take care of everything. Just as I requested! Thank you! But, I shouldn’t have had to make calls and arrangements on my moving day when they were made weeks before on line! UHAUL Head Office don’t change the rules when customers show up on moving day!

First, I reserved a truck to be picked up at Carsmart at 920 Mornington St., Stratford at 4:30, When I arrived at 4:15 the place was closed. I could see the truck in the parking lot but could not get it. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a U-Haul reservation specialist who eventually directed me to another location, literally all the way across town. Once at this new location despite registering on-line for express check-in it took 40 minutes to complete the process to get the truck. It was a busy gas bar with a young clerk that kept pushing my process aside to deal with gas customers On top of that the rental process was done over her phone with someone on a computer at the other end. The clerk had to pass the phone back and forth with me. I did not end up signing any contract nor receiving one as when the person on the other end of the phone sent it to the clerk with the phone, and she tried to print it off, but he printer didn't have ink in. Furthermore, I reserved and paid for 12 blankets. I was given two bags of blankets when I left with the truck. When I started to load the truck I found there were only 7 blankets in total in the bags. . What you can do for the next customer is live up to you contract, provide the truck at a location that is actually open so if can be picked up there at the agreed upon time.. Provide 12 blankets when they are reserved and paid for. Licv up to you 'Express Check-in ' promise.

There has been a bit of confusion, which I don't necessarily believe to be the fault of the person who rented the vehicle to me. A deposit was held for the vehicle, which has yet to be refunded and it is almost two weeks after I returned the vehicle. I was advised to call Uhaul directly, which I will be doing. I also had a very rude customer service agent via the 1 888 #, while trying to confirm the location to return the vehicle and it was very frustrating because the agent was rude and incorrect. She handled the situation very poorly and made me reconsider using Uhaul again in the future.

Paid in full thought it would be an easy drop off key and go. Spent 15 minutes with an attendant who had no idea what to do and when they finally called someone told me I owed an extra .45 cents I put it my pick and drop off locations paid in full and kept being asked for more money. Express check out was a joke
