No communication between locations. I was incorrectly charged for fuel. I started out with less than 3/4 tank fuel (please see attached photo) and I specifically asked the representative at my pickup location (640 W MacArthur Blvd, Oakland, CA 94609 - Phone: (510) 653-8789) The representative said it was acceptable and to simply return the truck with the same amount of fuel. However, I was still charged. Please refund $23.83 to my account. Thanks,

I think its pretty messed up that you guys gave me the gas tank at 1/4, so I had to fill it to do anything, then when I return the vehicle you suddenly made out with free gas. I thought your policy was to always have the gas tank at 7/8ths or higher when given to the customer and for them to return it at that amount or higher - thereby making it so the customer wouldn't be screwed the way I was. Pretty sure you guys got about 10-15 bucks off me. Thanks.

The truck sounded very unsafe to drive. When I went to pick up the truck the had not done a safety inspection until when they went to hand the truck over and were trying to find the source of a noise that was coming from the truck which had 157k on it. It appeared transmission related. It rode extremely rough there was no such thing as a gentle ride every bump was felt. Extremely disappointed in the equipment.

I can't really make any suggestions for "improvement..." I "pre-registered," and the whole rental experience was a breeze. This U-Haul location is my "go-to" for truck rental.

There is no parking on site for customers to pick up rental equipment or boxes and the staff is not helpful in communicating this. After hours drop off was difficult since there was also limited space for returning equipment.

Iam not happy with one thing. You gave me 3/8th of tank and when I returned it was more than 1/2 tank full. You should credit money in to my account. Its really cheating. If I would have given you 2/8 or 1/8 tank you would have ripped money. I feel Iam cheated with this.

Doesn't say at hubcap, what gas to put, no hubcap lock, easy access for somebody to put something else into gas tank, also no frequent user program which I have used this location before in Thanksgiving weekend in 2002, June 11 & 12, 2016 in Sunnyvale, CA on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale, CA. The wait once we arrived at the Uhaul facility until we were able to pick up the Uhaul was over 1.5 hours. This is unacceptable.

When I arrived at the store at 11:30 there was a line around the whole store and only one person taking costumers. The people at the front had be waiting for 90 + mins. Eventually the poor employee called in one of the mechanics to try to help, but he wasn't trained on how to handle the system very well. I ended up getting the truck I reserved at around 1:15. 2 people had called in sick and left this poor guy to handle the weekend crowd all by himself. There should be someway to help someone if people call in sick so us costumers don't have to wait over an hour for something we reserved ahead of time and so an employee doesn't get stuck all by himself all day with tons of people. I don't know if the poor guy got a chance to even eat.

I got 15' truck. In contract it says the gas tank is Quarter full. The employee did'nt check if it quarter full. The tank is empty. I had refilled the tank to quarter full which costed me $46 which around 15 gallons of gas and drove only 8 miles. Neither the manager nor the employee took the responsibility of their mistake of giving wrong information on paper and not checking the truck before giving it to me. The employee said that someone might have stole gas the when you are not looking. and the Uhal of sunnyvale manager is so irresponsible towards customers and solving their issues

On weekends please have more employees to assist. I had to stand 2 hours in line even after reserving it in advance.



I called the store to ask if it was ok if I dropped off past my scheduled drop-off time. I was told just drop it off before closing and it would be fine. I dropped off before closing and was charged an additional day for not being on time. Very frustrating and a waste of my money.

Equipment was not at location first chosen and reservation was changed ato this location instead. At first agent said no equipment available but then he was able to get us something to meet our needs but that delayed us by half an hour.

1. trailer bed was a bit dirty - only cosmetic 2. Checkout was complete, helpful and efficient: 5-star 3. Check in took 2 phone calls to get a receipt 4. Appreciate being able to drop the trailer at 11pm on a Saturday night even with no attendants.

I've already talked to customer service, but I am very unhappy about my experience with uHaul. Even though the truck worked fine, because the trailer was broke down I had to wait 3 hours for road side assistance, I had to pick up at two different place due to no locations have both items I had to issue separate complaints. Meaning although I received a refund for the tow trailer, I am still waiting to hear back from the truck. The truck did rev the engine going down hills now matter how slow I drove. The RPM would jump up to 4 and get stuck there until I switched to neutral. Upon returning the truck I was told it was normal, but I don't think It should have been as extreme as it was. Due to this and the trailer with zip ties and a bungy cord holding it together I felt very unsafe.
