I had ordered covers and a dolly to go with the truck. This location didn’t have either but didn’t tell me so they just took it off my order. How am I supposed to move stuff without the dolly. So I had to go get a dolly and buy covers . What’s to point of having it as an option if you’re just going to take it off when customer comes to pick up. Super inconvenient. The truck was clean and key easy to get. But beware no WiFi in area so may take you forever to load up the pictures that they require.
Amber PIt was the worst experience renting a U-Haul. The truck had no gas. The passenger mirror was extremely lose making it a hazard when driving. The U-Haul was extremely dirty so I had to sweep it before loading my stuff. The app would not allow me to complete the drop off. Therefore charging me for 3 days instead of 5 hours. I have called multiple times about getting a refund for the days I was charged and didn’t have the vehicle, but I keep speaking with customer service who keeps telling me that they have created a case number and a manager would be contacting me. Haven’t heard from anyone. Will be calling tomorrow again.
Silvia CThe setup is 5 lock boxes from which to get a key. The people there claimed that you needed to do the rental on the app and that it would tell you which lock box and its code. We did the rental on the app, which is just too badly written to believe -- was unable to get the second driver on the contract - started but then it switched to a different path, and no way to go back and fix it. Finally called and the online person said that the people at the location would know which lockbox and how to open it. I had to argue with them for several minutes until they were willing to help. They had to open four of the lock boxes to find the key. A wretched experience. And the location looked completely rundown - nearly abandoned. Unworthy of a reputable nationwide brand. They also didn't have the pads and dolly that I'd ordered.
John Bovercharged just because it’s not your regular location. I requested dolly while booking which was not there in cart when I picked up. upon reaching the storage I asked about dolly and they said that we won’t charge for dolly disregarding any inconvenience that caused.
