Got to the location to return the truck I rented at 6:58 p.m. and the location closed at 7 p.m. the people working already closed and were walking out of the building. When they spotted me they said tough we are closed to online. I will never use Uhaul again.

It was close at the time, the drop off was complicated because u haul expects every one to have internet to log in and or create an acount on line that takes more than 30 min to do because you need to conferm passwords and cofirm e mail so they can send you a number to conferm the account, really? The place overal and the people were great, but i dont agree on the creating an account and fill a bunch of bs just to drop off a truck.

My comments here are concerning the WALL location, where I initially had my reservation. I live very close to the WALL location and without a phone call, they did not communicate to me that they could not honor my reservation and inexplicably sent it to the Sunset location, which is completely out of my way. Sunset was great, but a phone call or some communication from the WALL location, where I reserved, and received a confirmation from that location was required. I wasted my time, expecting to pick up my trailer at WALL to be told that it was transferred to the Sunset location. No time to make other arrangements that were more convenient for me, I was forced to drive way out of my way, and wasting the precious time I had scheduled that morning for my task. I asked them why they did not contact me and they said Sunset should of. I said, "No, YOU (WALL) should have because it was with YOU I had the reservation with." There was no apology, no ownership, just pointing the finger at the other location. It was completely unapologetic and no care or consideration for the waste of MY time. I will never trust this location again and advise anyone who makes a reservation to CONFIRM that your reservation is indeed with the location you intended. The confirmation in my email was inconsequential even though it confirmed the WALL location. I could have easily made another reservation at another location more convenient to me, or at least not wasted the little time I had scheduled for this that morning. Thank goodness I did not order a truck with mileage. I would have been off my rocker, knowing I'd have to pay gas and the exorbitant mileage cost for a location so far out of my way. NEVER AGAIN will I reserve without personally confirming my reservation, because they have proven that they will not take the time, nor the responsibility for transferring your reservation. No choices for the customer, only what is convenient for them. TERRIBLE.

We rented twice in the last week. Both times I had to stop for gas before even reaching the move destination. Vehicles should be fueled and ready for use. This wasted a lot of our time having to refuel on pickup.

The people I met with in person were awesome. The was a bit of confusion with the on-line reservations system when I tried to change my reservation. I had to call to make sure I was getting the equipment I needed to tow a car. The reservations agent said it would be $102 to get the tow trailer, but it was actually $204. There also seems to be a U-haul policy to mark the truck fuel level in U-Haul’s favor. It was marked at 9/16ths on my pick up contract, but I was told 5/8ths. Meanwhile, the gauge looked a lot like ½. 1/8th of a tank is not worth quibbling over, but it looked like 3/4ths when I turned it in, and the turn in receipt read 11/16ths. I guess the U-Haul accounting wizards have figured out how much the company saves by getting free gas from all the renters.

There is only one person who is trained at that place and everyone else seems incompetent. The location is incredible. The guy that’s running it is good at the technical part of the job, maybe you I-haul would benefit by sending someone else to do the hiring, or someone to help with all of the other tasks.

Everything was awesome on my visit. The employee on duty, was very polite, friendly, and explained everything with professionalism. A great asset when your already tired and stressed with moving details. My only complaint is: I did purchase $40+ in boxes at the SLC State street location and didn't use a couple of them, and wanted to return them at this location, but a different employee upon returning the vehicle, said I couldn't, and kept the boxes anyway, a loss to me. Out the $ and the boxes.
