I booked a U-Haul truck one day in advance to save time and ensure that all documentation would be completed smoothly on moving day. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived at the pickup location, there was an issue with the u haul application, and I had to wait nearly one hour before I could proceed. To make matters worse, the online system showed that a 9-foot truck was available, which is why I specifically reserved it in advance. After waiting all that time, the staff informed me that the truck was actually not available at their location and directed me to another location to pick it up. This caused significant delays and inconvenience, especially since I had planned everything carefully to avoid exactly this kind of situation. Booking in advance should guarantee that the reserved vehicle is available and ready at the selected location. Overall, this was a frustrating experience due to poor coordination, inaccurate inventory information, and wasted time. I hope U-Haul improves its reservation system and communication to prevent other customers from experiencing similar issues.

I was disappointed that the truck had no ramp. That made moving big things like my freezer very difficult.

RICHARD JFirst time renter. Process couldn't have been easier. Only thing that sucks is there's so many u haul places but the closest place I could get a truck was around 30km's away from my destination. So it was 60.00 extra in just getting the truck to where I needed it.
