We were very disappointed upon picking up our rental that we were being charged a 2 day rental when we only wanted the rental for 1 day. Surprisingly, we were told, since this was a 1-way rental that Uhaul took it upon themselves to determine the time it would take, even though our drive was only 2 hours to our destination. We tried to voice our reasoning upon dropping off our rental but were told we would still be charged for 2 days regardless. This is a complete lack of using reasonable logic on the part of Uhaul.

When checking out I asked to verify the gas and mileage with the lady checking me out. She said she had to go check it herself (even though I took pictures of gas and mileage when I pulled in the lot) and that they would email me the receipt! She then charged me for gas when I have proof I brought it back with the same amount or even more gas than when I left!

MARIA EThe truck that I rented, had bald tires, look like the outside wasn’t clean in the inside smelled weird. The engine may need to be looked at? Seem like it had trouble starting. Otherwise, got to my destination safely.
