The person who rented us the truck was rude and she charged me for a safe move charge and never even asked us

THOMAS OWe reserved a 20' truck weeks earlier to be picked up at a convenient location near our home. We were notified by UHaul the day before our scheduled pick up that we needed to pick up the truck on the opposite side of our city. Not convenient, but what else could we do? Then just a couple hours before our scheduled pick up, we were notified that there were no trucks available anywhere in our city that day, even though we made this reservation weeks earlier. We were informed that there was a 20' truck in a town 50 miles away or a 15' truck in a town 30 miles away. Customer service was very abrupt and not helpful. We ended up having to get the 15' truck because we didn't have time to go get the 20' truck. All of our things did not fit and now we have to arrange another way to transport things to our new home in another town. We were very disappointed with U Haul service and their willingness to accommodate for their failure to uphold the contract. Let's see if this review will prompt any response from U Haul?
