The trailer leaked water while on the move due to rain and almost ruined my computer. Pretty sure my pillows and a few other items are done. I think the seals on your equipment need redone.

NOT directed at this location. Overall my experience was great. BUT you HAVE to fix your telephone service. Waiting on hold for ten fifteen minutes or more whenever you call U-Haul is not acceptable.

Vehicle had a bunch of trash in the cab from the previous renter. Vehicle didn’t smell clean. Came with less than a 1/4 of a tank. No cruise control. And steering of the vehicle wasn’t optimal.

The ridiculous "secondary identification" policy of having to call a friend is as useless as it is maddening. First of all, no one told me at the time I reserved my truck that I would be required to roust a friend out of bed early Saturday morning just to prove that I am who my driver's license says I am. Secondly, my driver's license is enough ID for the TSA to let me onto an airplane, and you can't tell me that your moving trucks need more security than that. Thirdly, I could give you literally anyone's number who will vouch for my identity, so it doesn't prove anything. I WILL NEVER RENT U-HAUL AGAIN AS LONG AS THIS POLICY IS IN PLACE. IT'S ASININE.

I made the reservation over the phone with an agent that was not at the pick-up location. She quoted a totally different price to me than I was charged when I picked up the trailer. The email confirmation should include the quoted price. It seems as though this is a condoned practice by U-Haul as the email does not include price quoted and a customer in line in front of me had the exact same problem when they got to the counter. He got the price he was quoted, I did not. The difference? That customer was a male, 5'11" tattooed, foul-mouthed, rude individual. I am female, 5'6" and I was polite. So I was told "sorry, nothing I can do" while the guy ahead of me got the price he was quoted. I will surely only use Uhaul as a last-resort in the future.

Location was fine, equipment was satisfactory but the service/product was ridiculous when it comes to pricing structure. I rented a 10 ft truck to drive in town, the store said if I drove it less than 5 miles to not worry about filling up the tank. Returned it on time, I literally drove it 3 miles and the location charged me an additional $8 for gas. The $8 is really not a problem, but with the flat rate, insurance and the additional gas charge $50 is ridiculous to pay for driving 3 miles in town.

Your manager needs training on customer service. I walked in and stood in front of him for more than 3 minutes and I was never acknowledged. He kept talking on the phone. I am in a similar industry a uhaul and my employees would never ignore any person that walks through the door. The competition is fierce and every customer is important. The rest is the crew was helpful and knowledgeable but your main manager "William Mathews" I believe that his name is in need of customer training. I will not come back to this facility. I will be using Penske for my next rental.

I had to go to 2 different Uhauls. Bottom line I want to let you know Phillip at Apache pick up was helpful and Jeremy at 800 Mclintock fixed a lot of things the phone operator messed up on. "Ruonda" one of the operators did not take notes like she said but put me on hold to write she didn't know what date... to what I do not know and sent me running around all day to 2 separate locations for truck pick up and storage. These 2 men made the day better. These 2 guys definitely deserve a bonus or raise, they went above and beyond to help fix everything for me.

Matthew Richardson had the morning shift by himself on a Saturday which I imagine is the busiest day of the week. There was a very long line but he kept everyone well informed, provided great customer service, and was a true professional. It is solely due to his independent efforts that I would recommend U-Haul to a friend.
