The initial check in was awful. I did the express check in the day before, and he still tried to take me through everything again. I guess they considered it busy with their 5 people in line. The clerk was visably and audibly flustered. He had to go get his slug of a coworker to come in to help.. Zero since of urgency. Poor customer service.No one in line was upset. We realize it's a small location. Check out went very smoothly when I returned the vehicle. He was very personable and efficient.

Wasted my time due to their system couldn’t read my credit card as a secondary payment is not really a big deal, but when the mile out and gas level on the contract are different than what is actually on the vehicle, and I would’ve got charged for over 300 miles when I only drove 45 miles if I didn’t take a picture of the vehicle’s dashboard before driving off their parking lot, I got to write this complaint. First, gas level on contract stated 1/2 but only 3/8 on vehicle. Second, mile out was 42154.5 on contract but it was 42431.4 on the vehicle. Mathew was the one who set up the contract. He seem like a nice guy and he did apologized but that wasn’t enough to make me a happy customer due to this terrible experience.

I return the trailer on Monday I did not receive a confirmation email of returning it from this location. Two days later I received a phone call asking when I was going to return the trailer. I had to then Collin and let them know where and when I return the trailer hopefully the correction has been made by now. I recommend this location giving more prominent receipt of return once the customer has returned the item.

When the customer request tools to be used please make sure that tool is in the truck but over all the experience was good.

Went to drop off went to the location listed on the contract to find out it was no longer a uhaul location I called the phone number on the contract they sent me to a second location that location had no Room and was unable to service me so I found a 3rd location and dropped off the trailer there What a pain in the ass!!!

Had to track down a customer service person to pick up the truck because nobody came to the front. The insurance was twice as much as it has been in the past. The dash came apart and dropped to my feet while I was driving. When I dropped off the the truck, the customer service person acted as if I was bothering him to let him know the dash issue. This location has always beed very good in the past, something has changed.

Better training for the CSR person, not at the location. She didn't listen to what I was saying, kept repeating a response that wasn't responsive. Complete silence for 1 minute until I asked what was happening. Then she explained she was attempting to contact the manager at the location. Why couldn't she have said that before the silence?? Training issue and accountability. I was finally able to talk to Matthew, manager at the location, who made things right. Kudos to Matthew!

You wrote a review for U-Haul Storage of Tri-City 19 hours ago 5.0 star rating 11/3/2017 Who knew it would take so much time to figure out the best word to describe the customer service I got from this U-Haul location? In describing the location, its staff and overall experience, " SUPERB " isn't enough to describe how amazingly wonderful doing business with them. Was the entire staff awesome? Yes. Was I given excellent customer service? Yes, in fact, I need a better word than excellent. Did the staff give me great suggestions to help me in my packing needs? Yes. Were they incredibly understanding? Ohhh yes! Matthew Richardson, the center manager, did far beyond what is expected in helping me during my " haul ". Ernie was very patient in helping me figure out what products to purchase to help me move and store some delicate items. Want to get the same treatment I got? Be nice, polite, honest, and humble. They may be part of a BIG CORPORATE organization but at the end of each day, the people in those buildings are just like you and me. A human that greatly appreciates human interaction.
