No changes, Ernest was so great the night we came right before the location closed and unhooked my car from our tow dolly, only to realize that the battery was dead! He was kind enough to bring his own car over and give us a jump even though it was after the store was technically closed. We really appreciated everything he did!

The man checking me in at 2340 E Apache location marked me down for the wrong mileage. I got charged over 180 miles when I in fact only went 30 miles. Luckily the manager at the Camelback location was able to help me out. They should ask customers to double check mileage, as I almost had to pay an extra $70.

1) Passenger mirror did not stay in place 2) Accidentally opened bag for pads, but did not open any (you could see that). Person at counter was adamant I had to pay, when I told him no way, he said talk to a Manager, I said Okay. Manager immediately said okay. Why doesn't he have the authorization to review and make that call, so it is not an issue over $10???

I first went to the location 800 N McClintock Dr, Tempe, AZ 85281. The person at the front desk told me I would have a better chance of finding a u-haul truck by calling a 1-800 number, as I was standing inside a u-haul location. He then proceeded to do his job and punch in information to the computer and found me a truck at the Apache Blvd location. At the Apache Blvd location they were more helpful, except when it came time to hitch the vehicle to the u-haul truck. My friend who had come along with me was the one trying to tie up the car. He got under the car (there was no pavement, when my friend got back up his hands were all greasy and his back was black covered in dirt). Eventually the two employees came out and tried to help us finish securing the vehicle. I trusted that the employees had done their jobs and secured the vehicle appropriately. Many miles and hours later, I got pulled over in Nevada, just 10 minutes away from Idaho. The reason why I got pulled over was because the chains on the right tire were dragging and they were causing sparks. Also, because a light on the hitch they provided us with was out. Fortunately, I had some tools and was able to secure the chain. The officer told us to inform U-haul about the light, which I did once I returned it to the Washington location. Needless to say, I was not impressed with the service from either location I went to in Arizona, but I was glad that they were able to assist me in finding me a truck. Things that could be done to improve thing for the next customer? Maybe teach employees about customer service. Have employees ensure they are connecting everything themselves and that everything is in good working order before the customer leaves the parking lot with the rented equipment.

My pick up location for my truck was moved three times...... And I had to go to a different location to pick up the auto transport..... One side of town to the other .... It was crazy.... And then the right blinker on the trailer wouldn't work... Even though they tried to fix it and worked hard to make it right it still wouldn't work...everyone from start to finish was great and helpful but the logistics of it all sucked.

From the reservation, pick up, through drop off, this was an easy and pleasant rental. The reservationist recommended a van rather than a pickup for what I was moving, and I am grateful for her recommendation. The van was indeed better! Everyone at this location was pleasant, upbeat and super helpful. I highly recommend this Uhaul location!

The store manager called me at 7:58AM this morning with a 'matter-of-fact' tone to inform me he was filing a claim for damages against me because of a preexisting hole in the cargo area roof. When I argued that my partner and I noticed the damage before loading the truck, he replied that it was inconsequential and he was filing the claim regardless. Two hours later he called back and left a voicemail apologizing because after reviewing security footage, he saw the damage was in fact preexisting. During the interval I suffered tremendous emotional distress at the prospect of having to pay thousands of dollars for damages I did not accrue. The general manager's crass and rude attitude towards my replies only compounded this distress and considering taking legal action against Uhaul over this issue.
