The truck was OK, no complaints. The service was terrible. They overcharged for the equipment (different price from the website). I order 12 pads I I just received 3. I have to come back to the store again to get the rest. The pads were not folded and so do I delivered them in this way. The person was extremely rude and arrogant to demand I fold them in few minutes otherwise was going to extra-charge me. I was also extra-billed for the double of the daily rate to make an adjustment in the delivery hour (same day delivery), even though they confirmed there was plenty of availability of trucks. The only great aspect was the location of the store, which is pretty convenient for Toronto downtown.

A positive is the staff we friendly, helpful, and efficient. When I picked up the car the gas was empty. The paper I received said the tank was at 1/4 full, but I got in and it was less than 1/8. Within 20 minutes from leaving the gas light came on, and in the city it's not easy to find a gas station. I was also only doing a 10km trip, so didn't want to make a run to the gas station.

We booked the van for 11am well in advance, only to be informed the evening before that our booking had been moved to 12:15pm. Despite informing the agent that 11am didn't work due to a doctor's appointment, we were told there was nothing that could be done. However, when we arrived, there were two vans of the size we booked, both with the engines cold. We're not sure why our booking was moved if there were vehicles available. Finally, the same associate booked us in and out, and was highly rude both times.

I do not write for this location only but this comment is overall for the whole uhaul employees I went to three different locations they don't treat u fairly... I was told to go to a location ur reservation has been done once I get there the guy at the front who literally either hates his job or his customers says ur info is not in the system... so I had to call back the lady whom I did my reservation with this lady denies that she has not done my reservation and she put me on hold for 30 mins and finally disappeared!! At the mean time I had to go to another uhaul location where they had tracks and I really needed to do my moving for some reasons and I'm trying to explain my situation to another guy who does not try to listen to me and asking me different questions. I would never recommend uhaul to anyone.

The van smelled like a toilet. It was nauseating. I don't know what happend in there, but I told the staff member upon returning the van and he seemed to be alright with the situation. It didn't phase him. This is disgusting, and shouldn't be normal.

Was overcharged $250 and only found out because I looked at my invoice and called. Location said I drove over 200miles when I drove less than 3. Rep at the location said he wasn’t going to help me refund and was extremely rude on the phone. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had.

Very unreliable location to drop off your rental. I dropped off the vehicle at 5:30pm on a Saturday and was met by man who worked there and was told to leave the vehicle in the parking lot and I would receive an e-mail from Uhaul with my receipt. Around 12:30pm the next day I received a call asking when I was going to drop off the vehicle. I told the man on the phone that I had dropped it off the day before. I was then told that they would need to check the lot to confirm this. After not hearing back for several hours I finally called Uhaul customer service who sorted this all out and had notified me that they had the vehicle but had yet to check it in. Upon checking in the vehicle, I received an e-mail stating I had no additional charges, however, the mileage put on the vehicle was 100+ kms than when I had dropped it off and they changed my drop off day to a day later than I originally had rented for. IF you choose to drop off at this location make sure you take a picture of your odometer and gas gage reading before you leave to ensure this does not happen to you. I was lucky that I had no additional charges but I'm sure this is not the case for everyone. This place is extremely unorganized which caused me a lot of extra stress. I would not recommend dropping off your rental here.

Went to pick up the truck at the location and they said the truck wasn’t there and it was at a public parking lot more than a 10 minute walk away. I was on a timeline with my move with elevators booked and this put me behind. If the location is going to provide and offer a service they should fulfill this and not detour me with no advance notice or compensation.

The truck didn't have a snow wiping equipment. My windows and rear trunk was full on snow and I had no equipment to remove the snow.

We ordered a dolly & it wasn’t in the truck... we didn’t realize this till we had already started moving and with only two hour elevator time bookings in our condo, it was a wasted hour having to go get the dolly myself. It’s awkward and heavy and no one there help me out it in my car. On top of that we had ordered the dolly initially online but then for some reason had to pay for it again when I got to Uhaul... They also marked the gas tank at 1/4 full when it was actually basically empty. We move a lot and use Uhaul a lot but this was completely ridiculous and I’m glad I’m in another province so I don’t have to deal with this terrible location again.

Truck was almost out of gas when I picked it up. 1/8 tank. I thought I would run out before I found a station. When I returned it the employee said yes he knew I was low. I returned it with more gas than I got it with because I refused to run it to empty

the location is very small and my vehicle had to be fetched from a offsite location, I too had to park my car a number of blocks away due to no room which is an obvious inconvenience. The vehicle was barely cleaned off of snow, the windshield still have a great deal of snow on it which was and needed to be cleaned given the visual impairment, I took the time to do everything online and also did the advanced check-in as I was told via email it would cut my wait time in half, I waited over twenty minutes to speak to the gent about my vehicle which I thought was unacceptable, there was only one person who seemed capable of doing the paperwork so it was totally backed up. Now the positive was that the gentleman running the counter was very polite and pleasant and obviously knew what he was doing and once I was able to be assisted by him, the process was excellent. I have rented Uhaul equipment a great deal in the last few months and this was by far by worst and potentially last time I will do business with Uhaul.

Not enough personnel to handle the queue. Truck had almost no fuel left and so a trial refund was issued, further prolonging the ordeal to over forty minutes.
