I have rented from U-Haul many times, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The mileage on the odometer did NOT match what was listed on the contract at pickup. The fuel tank was also not truly full — it was barely touching the “F” line. When I returned the truck, I refueled it to the exact same position as when I received it, yet I was still charged for 2 extra gallons and additional miles. This feels dishonest and extremely unprofessional. Customers should not have to double-check basic things like mileage accuracy and fuel level just to avoid being overcharged. Very disappointed. I will not return to this location and will be filing a formal complaint.
