It would help if there were more than one employee on-site to expedite rentals and returns. The staff did their best and maintained a positive attitude, but it was clear they were struggling just to keep their heads above water.

I did have to change the day of the reservation and it took two phone calls and two attempts online to get the reservation changed. I feel, had I gone back to the store, it would have been easier and faster. The trailer itself was old and the roll up door was hard to open and close. Other than that, all worked out well I also returned the trailer in less than half a day. A credit for the unused half a day would have been greatly appreciated, as I gave the opportunity to re-rent the trailer rather than keeping it for the whole 24 hours.

I have been charged for damage which was recorded in my contract when I received the equipment for my one way contract. I have the documentation which states the damage was on the truck when I received it. General Manager, Samantha Snyder, was informed of the problem, has not contacted me, and the charge has been made to my account. The problem has not been addressed or corrected.

Nothing! The experience was great! The van was very clean, nearly new and that was appreciated as we needed to drive it for 11 days. The personnel at teh counter were happy and prompt....all in all, they did a great job. Kudos!

While I've used this location on numerous occasions (over 5) I've never had a bad experience up until this time. The girl that was waiting on me has A LOT to be desired as her customer representative skills are TERRIBLE at best!!!!. She needs to go back to training or be removed from her position. She failed miserably and her attitude was not customer friendly in any way. I had many questions about my rate, mileage cost (depending on miles driven), etc. and every question was answered with "I don't know the computer generates the fees when you return". This was completely unacceptable. I needed answers to calculate my costs and she was not able or willing to give them to me nor find out the answers. She was RUDE, PUSHY and RUSHING me. I kept looking behind me to see if another customer was waiting in line behind me and there was no one. If I come to your location again I will refuse to let her wait on me. The van I rented was clean EXCEPT for the inside of the windshield. It looked like it had not ben cleaned since the day the van was put into service. It was extremely noticeable when I was returning at night in the rain I could barely see out of it which made it extremely difficult to drive. No one went outside with me to go over anything about the van. I was told it was parked out front & ready to go.

The truck I rented was the worst truck I ever had from uhaul. It was my first time at this one and last first I was told i went 100 miles from victor to rochester and owed 177.00!! Never have i ever paid 100 dollars for a move then I put 20.00 of gas in needle barley moved and she charged me 30.00 more dollars for gas. It was the worst equipment ever and they don't care.

When I rented my trailer they told me it would be town in Virginia waiting for me. I bought the vehicle and was ready to go get the trailer and no one had a trailer. I had to hunt down a trailer in Martinsville in going get it A-day earlier so I made sure I had something to haul the vehicle I bought back to New York. I spent 2 and a 1/2 to 3 hours in Martinsville trying to do the computer work. The 2 guys behind the counter were awesome and patient.

It was my first time renting equipment from U-Haul. At first, I was a little upset when I made a reservation at another location, then was told 20 minutes later that they didn't have what I needed and the reservation was moved elsewhere, adding another 25 miles to the round trip. However, I still tried to make it work. The staff at the location were very helpful and knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable and confident with my first time. I would highly recommend the location in the future to anyone in the area and if I ever need any further assistance.

Location in a more commercial area. It was closed due to a Sunday PM return, but it was neat looking and appeared to be a major UHAUL location. Good riddance to our UHAUL truck. Tires were extremely worn. The truck vibrated and shook uncontrolably at speeds above 10 mph. We didn't feel safe, but had NO alternative other than using it.

The young man who helped me was outstanding. Turns out we had a blown fuse in our truck and as he worked to diagnose the issue, he was literally running in and out of the building to wait on other arriving customers while he was still working on our issue. He pinpointed our issue and advised on how we could correct it. Very well done!
