I went to pick up the truck at the scheduled time, and the person who could rent me the vehicle wasn't there. I had to come back one hour later to pick it up. I had talked to a representative on the phone and it was made clear that the vehicle was being picked up in vilna, and being dropped off in smoky lake. When I went to return it in smoky lake, they said the contract stated it was to be returned in Andrew. They sorted that out, but their terminal was not working and could not give me my deposit back on my credit card and could only give me cash. 30 minutes later I was finally able to leave. I had people waiting in the car this whole time which was a real inconvenience for them. I was very disappointed with the level of service. Oh, and when I finally was able to pick up the truck, the windshield was covered in ice with no snow brush in the vehicle. It was from Arizona as well, and did not have winter tires....not safe whatsoever.

What I’m about to write is not about the truck or the place I picked up the vehicle! They were both great !! The problems I did have were with booking the truck first off I booked received a text that confirmed the reservation and gave me a confirmation number. Then another text saying if I needed to speak to an agent to text back yes so I did . Then o received another text saying that the reservation was confirmed and no one needed to speak to me. The next day I get a call telling me that there is no truck available for me at location that i had booked it at Needless to say I was a little pissed off ! I used some language that I shouldn’t have with the agent and instead of trying to resolve this she hung up on me . At no time did I personally attack her. All I was doing was telling her that it was their fault not mine so what were they willing to do to fix it . After that i took some time to cool off I called the Edmonton number explaining the situation they gave me a number I believe was in Ontario where I spoke with 2 different agents. Finally we came to an agreement. I was to pick up a bigger vehicle 80km away and return it to the same location. It was supposed to be finalized !The next day I got another call they said they had to confirm the contract?they said I was to pick up in vilna and drop off in Laclabiche their info was all wrong. So I was transferred to another agent and she was very good got everything straightened out and gave me a break in the mileage as well too bad they weren’t all as helpful and apologetic as she was . I wish I could say it was a good experience but it wasn’t and all that did was add stress to an already stressful time . Moving is a difficult chore and can be very stressful without worrying about a truck rental! Obviously your system needs to be changed one office doesn’t know what the head office is doing and vise versa!!!
