This truck had barely 1/4 of tank. This makes the client have to fill it. The truck had dirt inside and out. Overall, I thought the people that took the truck from the last renter were lazy and just didn't want to fill it up or clean it.

Counter help was exceptional. The van was not clean - the bed should have been swept because there were nails and staples back there. The windows were terribly dirty! Inside cleaning of windows is highly recommended every now and then. No back up camera when the woman at the desk said there would be one.

The Newton Food Pantry have been clients of this U-Haul location for several years. I cannot say enough about the standard of customer service that we receive. These guys are great and very knowledgeable. After returning the truck last week I was telling Jon that we had received 75 dozen fresh eggs in bulk and that I was on the hunt for egg cartons. He mentioned that I should check the local Agway and sure enough I has able to purchase 70 egg cartons. It might seem like a small thing but it was a huge help since we had to distribute eggs per dozen to our clients. Thanks guys you are the best!

Tank was not full ... we drove 10 miles and put in 5.4 gallons to fill it. Low tire pressure light is on.

Self pick up/drop off needs work--- Even though my boyfriend had my account login information, password, and my card had already paid for reservation, and his drivers license was on the reservation-I still had to drive to the location to "check-in." Once we received the code to the lock box, there were no keys in it. We lucked out and an employee happened to be stopping by on a sunday and gave us the keys, if this stroke of luck didnt happen we would have been out of luck. We misplaced a small bag screws from my furniture and when I called and emailed to see if they were left in the truck I did not receive a response for a day and a half. When I went to drop the truck off, I was not prompted to "check out," so I had to call after the fact and go through that process on the phone, with Becky, who was extremely helpful.

I picked up the truck after hours and did the 8 step online sign-out procedure. At the point where the operator called my co-worker to verify my identity, they quickly contacted my coworker but stopped contacting me and didn't move on to the next step for over 20 minutes. It took over 30 minutes just to drive away with the truck. I will never use this aspect of the service again.

Itb was not so easy to do it all on my phone...directions weren't clear to start. Also accessing the key off hours was a challenge also.

John was very helpful in explaining me about the tire damage. Due to uhaul policy, he couldn't do much about reducing charges for tire damage. The area manager mentioned to me about safeguard plus. I had taken safeguard insurance but it was no good for tires. Their website also had no option to select the plus option that covers tires. It seems this is a ripoff to get money from customers to replace their worn out tires. During the travel, one of the tire got torn while making a right turn and hitting a curb. Since it is not covered in regular Uhaul 'safeguad' insurance, I had to pay $220 out of my pocket to replace a worn tire.

It is not clear where to park a vehicle for drop off. I had to circle around a couple of times before finding a spot that was awkward to use by the building. Parking labeling would help a lot.

The staff here are exceptional and helpful. I booked the reservation with kent who was very easy to work with and knew what size truck I needed. I checked the truck out with Steven who was kind enough to go pull up the truck for me and was very polite. Best uhaul I have ever been to.

Have the correct merchandise. I rented a van weeks ago for today but was told there was no van when I arrived. Had to take a truck which was not what I wanted. Not a good way to run a business.

There is no obvious place to park, which makes getting there a challenge. The truck I got had literally no gas in it - the light was on. Not a great way to start a rental experience.

We could not have been more pleased all associates were wonderful making this such a easy transaction. I booked a truck on thur for sat and met with John, then sat we picked up the truck and met with Raven, then returned the truck a few hours later and I am not sure of the gentlemens name that was there , and they were all wonderful what a great staff and I can't say enough about such an easy transaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
