I arrived at 8am to a line; not enough staff; not the right size truck; no flat (piano) dollys unless I wanted to purchase them, had placed my reservation on line. Truck ran terrible, but they had nothing good to say when I returned the truck with 1/4 tank but its a hair below, I went and put in yet another gallon of gas, and the needle never moved. Have never had issues with Uhaul before, rented annually for events. This was a horrible experience.

Was not clear in booking. Should have stated truck is booked and can only use APP to pick up vehicle. I arrived at 730 but realized location was not open till 9 am. Arrived at 9 am. Was told have to use app and vehicle was already avail at 730. Poor communication with U-Haul website but staff in west Sacramento was very helpful. Also double charged. Will contact main office for refund.

The crew did not want to install an electrical hookup, for the trailer I reserved,because there was only 15 minutes left in their day and they said it would take a half hour or maybe more to do. So instead they rented a small truck to me and I was charged almost 600.00 dollars for the truck. I really believe I was taken advantage of because I reserved a trailer, they didnt want to hook up the lights and so I paid about 10 times more for a truck. The truck had not been cleaned,AT ALL, but I really had no choice at that point. I have been using UHAUL for 30+ years and never have been treated this way. It feels like UHAUL only cares about the money and not the customer these days. 600 dollars really hurt me but I can say I will tell everyone about my experience since the manager at that store did not have the customer service skills to address my concerns. Sincerely, NEVER AGAIN UHAUL!

The tank was 1/4 full when I picked up the vehicle and about 1/8 when I returned it. I understand that I have to pay for some fuel when I return it because I did not have time to fill it up on the way in. the person informed me that it would be $57 because of a $30 surcharge for being under 1/4 full....it was right there when I rented it in the first place. I find that ridiculous since there was very little fuel upon renting it in the first place.

The Uhaul rep had to replace a tire hold down strap after I found it torn. I think those items should be taken care of or inspected before customer pick up.
