This whole moving situation has been stressful and just plain awful. We go to get the U-Haul yesterday and the picture they provided with the code was unclear. I couldn’t read the letters. So I had to spend 10 min trying to get ahold of customer service to get a code emailed to me. We get in the truck & it doesn’t start. I spent another 10 min trying to get a hold of customer service. Thankfully Michael Loughrey is a truck driver and keeps his jump box for his semis with him at all times. The customer service guy told me to jump it off. I told him to make sure it was notated on the account. We get the the house and we’re loading and finally go to leave. The truck is dead again. We spent about 15 min trying to jump it off again and trying to get someone on the phone to get someone to get out here to fix it. We finally get it jumped and make it to the new house. Two service providers were scheduled to come out and be to us within an hour. They both cancelled. About 3.5 hours later someone shows up DRUNk. And openly admits they just got done eating and drinking at Buffalo Wild Wings. He got to the truck and had no idea where the battery belonged. He couldn’t fix anything. Michael got it opened up and ready for him to put the battery. The guy didn’t have any tools. I even told U-Haul this guy was under the influence. They didnt care. He leaves again and is gone for 45 min and comes back. We’re all inside. Didn’t even knock on the door or anything we didn’t see him pull in. My phone was on the charger and we’re all in unpack mode. Dude just sits in his car for 30 min twiddling his thumbs. I finally look at my phone and see a text from U-Haul that he is back. I send Michael back out there. Guy couldn’t fix the U-Haul. Then Garrett goes out there because ya know he worked on big trucks like this in the military. Garrett did almost all the work and got the U-Haul running. The guy they sent out then admits that he is just a locksmith and doesn’t know anything about this stuff. I continue to try and communicate with U-Haul and ask for an extension because everyone made plans to help Saturday. No one was available today, we had plans today, and everyone works Monday. I figured through all the issues they would give me an extension. NOPE. But this time is already 9pm. They only extend it for the time it was officially broken down. Everyone is exhausted at this point. I had been up since 4am, Justin 5:30am, Michael 6:45am packing and moving stuff. Garrett, Kat & Jake came later in the day but had been up early as well. It was crazy cold last night. There was no physical possibly way we were gunna be able to make the last part of the move last night or early this morning. We all were hurting, tired, hungry. We needed rest. Michael came from Atlanta to help and Kat & Jake drove an hour and a half here to help us move. Then I message them today again because obviously this is unacceptable & they offered to only extend to 1:30pm on Monday. We all work on Monday. We couldn’t be moving anything until after 5pm when we had help. Again - they didn’t care. Told me that someone from customer action would be contacting me within 3 business days. Obviously 3 business days doesn’t help my situation. Needless to say - I’m returning the U-Haul right now and I’m just over this whole situation. 10/10 do NOT RECOMMEND U-HAUL. ON TOP OF IT ALL THEY CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL 68.87 TODAY!!!!!!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

SHERYL JCarters moving Service is a horrible company - I cant leave them a bad review so I will leave it here oping uhaul sees this and lets me review the movers not the pick up location - Mr Carter isvery irresponsible- sends out people who have no idea what they are doing with no leadership and no regard for your belongings -his "crew leader" dropped my grandmothers hutch rightin front of me and broke the drawer in half - it is an 80 year old heirloom and mr carter deactivated his page with uhaul so i could not leave a review in may so he will rob you then remove his profile hoping you forget about it - until he reactivates again - i am due a full refund and replacement for my grandmothers hutch so i told him i had the patience of job since he wanted to test me like him and i see he is back at it again sending out questionable characters to disrespect and break your things right in front of you and lie and close his account here instead of making it right -shame on him and RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY --- he would have FAR WORSE REVIEWS if he had not found a way to manipulate the system each time he has an angry client - that is premeditation folks -STEER CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!! The owners cousin rented us his truck in clear violation of the uhaul contractual agreement basically by holding our items hostage if we didnt use his truck too while they stood there and discussed how it was in violation of the contract with uhaul to rent their personal vehicle -which it turned out the cousin also LIVED IN- it was AWFUL and they DONT CARE! He will just deactivate until angry customers forget and then come right back on here to rob the next person AND uhaul!!!
