When someone pays the amount due, release the money owed back to them in a more timely fashion not 3-5 business day's later. Most of the time not always ppl rent the truck during the weekend. To me that is unacceptable you never know what that person needs their money for. In my cause my daughter birthday is Tuesday but guess what I won't get my $75 back until Thursday or Friday. Oh well I will make the best of it anyway. Thanks have a great new year ??



When I reserved the truck rental via U-Haul website and I chose to use the online rental pickup. When I arrived to actually pick up the rental, the Online Pick Up app froze ... a miserable failure. Thank goodness the onsite attendant at the pickup site (a Shell gas station) was able to quickly and competently process my rental order. Kudos to her!!

Helpful staff. I ended up getting my truck and trailer from two separate locations. These ratings apply to all three U-Haul locations I used on my trip. (Willoughby True Value on Erie street was originally my pick up location for both. I ended up picking up my truck in Wickliffe, loading it, picking up the trailer in WLBY and then having to load my car in Wickliffe where I had left it. I got a step-by-step tutorial on how to load my car in WLBY (I would have had no problem loading it myself in a large lot). Dave in Wickliffe helped me get loaded in a less-than ideal amount of space on the lot (he works with a race team so loads cars a lot). They probably don’t rent the trailers because the lot is just a small gas station, but it didn’t even matter. Every place I went two had helpful professionals and that really made my move easy.



Make sure the customer service representative is not racist. He called a previous customer a n**ger and proceeded to say that all of them are retarded anyways. His verbage made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I don’t agree with his racist remarks. I will never recommend this U-Haul Pickup to anyone ever. Your company needs to reavaluate the customer service representatives that you hire. The truck was well maintained, but it’s a customer service job.

The van was clean n drove well. The cargo door has issues and required us to SLAM the door to close it. The proprietor told us they received the Van that way n she has notified Uhaul but no one has fixed it yet. Overall it was a very good experience though.

After requesting the truck for six hours to pick up free furniture for needy families, we learned of a piano someone wanted to give our church. I called and asked if we could keep the truck for the full 24 hours, but it had already been reserved the next day. Not long after that they called back and said another truck had become available and I could keep the truck for the 24 hours. It was a very thoughtful gesture and helped many people receive free furniture.

The clerk at Shell was very rude and unprofessional. She had started on me but when other customer came to the register. She told me to go to the side while she ring up other customer's order that came in the store after me. After everyone in the store was gone. She did my uhaul order. I asked her why she did that. Her response was Shell's customer is priority over Uhaul's customer. I did not originally picked this store. The store I selected when I made Uhaul order for truck rental was changed due to the store no longer does Uhaul. Due to this incident of waiting long time. I was late meeting the MoverHelper. When I brought the truck back, I talked to the manager and told him that I have an complaint against the store clerk working in the store. He ignore me and never ask me what happened. This is the worst experience I ever had with Uhaul. I never want to use Uhaul at this location again. I thought first come first serve is the rule in customer service, not what I experienced.

The truck was absolutely horrible. The engine is going bad and the transmission might be going to had to drive the streets because I was scared to drive the freeway who’s made my move take hours longer. I honestly want a refund.

I need for someone to take a look at the insurance check every time I tell the merchant that I do not need the insurance it always seem to be added to my bill and I have to play the wait game to get my money back this is not fare I’m very upset with this now I also put in a complaint and have to wait 72 hours for someone to get back to me and they never do this time I still have not heard from someone with a request to solved the issue . Everything was great including the check in and out process. The reason I checked no for the second item is that the van had a funny smell and the inside windows really needed to be cleaned. Minor, yes, but my feedback! I will use the location and Uhaul again!

Had no help getting it hooked up until after a 10 minute struggle went back inside to ask the lady attendant to assist. We still struggled with for about 10 minutes. I was basically left on my own to hook up everything and to test the lights.

The problem was not with the Willowick location but with U-Haul itself. Areserved a truck two weeks in advance just get a phone call to be told that a truck was not available. After demanding a truck, they came up with a smaller truck 10 miles out of my way. The truck was too small and I paid for the extra mileage to get the truck and bring it back - and the extra trips I had to make. I won't be using U-Haul again.



The lady refused to take truck even tho we had already cleared it with pickup location to make this stop drop off point, as we were leaving we had to go back and take out extra supplies that we were giving back to uhaul including dolly, mind you the place was closed and a gas station was taking ownership of the truck.
