THe truck was swept and clean of debris, but the fragrance smell was horrific. All ALL rental companies should know that fragrance chemicals are toxic, and there are many customers who HATE those chemical smells. Cigarettes should be fined heavily, not sprayed over so that all the other customers suffer chemical scent mixed with cigarettes (we can smell them both!!!!). This is an environmental disaster. The clerk at the Essex Rd. U-Haul looked up "Febreeze while I was there and found a major amount of information making it clear that commercial fragrances are toxic and full of contaminants. Essential plant oils can be mixed with white vinegar and actually remove, with friction and a cloth, offensive odors. You must get ahead of the curve on this, be a green company, acknowledge that these chemicals make many of your 'other' customers sick.

This location was great. The man we dealt with was very helpful and kind. Overall, my uhaul experience was awful. This was the THIRD location that uhaul sent me yesterday after messing up my order and pick up location. I had ordered a uhaul for 8/27 at 7am so needed to do the online pick up. We were on a tight timeline as I had hired movers to move the big furniture. We were unable to complete the online pick up and ended up having to wait until 9am when the store open. Turns out we were unable to complete the pick up because that morning someone had changed our location. So here we are, 2 1/2 hours behind schedule driving to a second location. We arrive at the second location to find that NO ONE IS THERE. I called the customer service back and was directed to a THIRD location. So all in all, Uhaul made us waste and run behind on our schedule by 3 1/2 hours. I have always had great experiences with uhaul but this might be my last time utilizing you.

It was a good experience. I was a little put-out when I returned and was told we will e-mail you your bill. No . . . .. I was told I was third in line and it would be a half hour. 1. No one else was waiting. 2. i wanted to check out the truck with your rep. 3; I wanted my bill. They finally gave in. Should re-think your procedures!!
