I’m embarrassed to say I cannot remember the names of the incredible ladies that assisted us today. They were so helpful and managed to put a smile on our faces both before and after our freezing moving adventure. It was so heartwarming to have such great customer service during a stressful time. Rented a U-Haul truck here and dealt with the owner upon rental pick-up. Had the rental until 3pm the following day. I rented the truck, brought it back early and had a rental for duniture pads as well. I drove the truck all the way back and forgot to put two of the furniture pads inside and left them at my house which was 30 minutes away. I decided I would call the following day to let them know and had a woman answer the phone who said the truck was already checked in and I was charged for the pads. I explained the situation and told her that I do have the rental until 3pm and understood I brought it back early and should have the ability to return the rented pads with no cost as long as they got returned by the end of the rental period. I brought the furniture pads back to the store and dealt with the Agway owner again who acted as if he didn't remember who I was yet quoted a comment and questioned a comment I said the previous day which obviously shows he remembered me. He said he couldn't do the return and I'd have to call the district manager. Not only did he stand there and argue over business practice he must also have a case of small man syndrome as he rather talk than listen and his attitude went from 0-60 in no time. He had full capability to process a return after talking with uhaul customer service as well as the rental truck we picked up had a wiper that was missing. Didn't realize this until driving down the snow covered road and went to use the wipers from road spray coming from traffic ahead and the wiper failed to work and caused us to experience dangerous driving conditions. The previous rental we had from the same Agway within a week apart had the furniture pads lock out tag broken and to avoid a charge I had to go into the store to inform them that they didn't check the truck in properly otherwise I would have incurred a charge for the opened furniture pads option which didn't have a break away tag. What could have been done differently- --Trucks could be checked in properly and the owner could be better with customer service. -- The owner instead so arguing with me in the store about correct business practices could have simply issued the refund of $10 and listened rather than trying to speak over me. - The owner could have went ahead and took care of (me) the customer....and the fact he wouldn't take care of a $10 furniture pad return makes me question larger purchases that I would make in his store. - I would advise potential rental customers and store customers to be cautious when dealing with the owner who is a liar and acts like he has no idea what your talking about. He could have simply called me prior to processing the uhaul check in to verify everything but decided not to. I will not be bringing any business back to this store and will advise the hundreds of people I come in contact with everyday at my job not to as well.

I arrived at 5:50pm to a location that closes at 6 - and in a snow-storm situation. I did not get the name of the amazing lady who dropped everything to make sure I got the right truck - she adivsed me, then walked outside to show me the one she recommended. I bought the insurance because she sold it very well. She MADE my experience. I walked wanting a cargo van and ended up with a 15' ramp truck because of her great attention to what we needed (a way to ttransport a snowblower; ramp def needed).

I reserved an open trailer to pick up at Essex Agway in Williston, VT to use on the day after my moving day. I got a call from UHaul just a day or two before the day I had the reservations saying that the trailer I reserved wasn't actually being held for me and that the closest one available was in Swanton VT, 40 miles away! I couldn't ask the person helping me to go that far and I thought that was outrageous. It meant that we had to upgrade to a more expensive rental and that doesn't seem fair. Why call it a reservation if it's not actually being reserved for you?

Erica from traffic was a real pain. I can’t believe the hopes I had to jump through from Erica trying to keep me from renting a 20 footer. I felt like a complete asshole and because of Erica delaying me i had 4 guys I paid to do nothing for over an extra hour to get the truck. And then I had to finish loading it my self in the rain since the crew I hired could stay the extra time I lost in the beginning. Never uhall again. Thanks for messing up our move Erica from traffic.

My rental was on 10/27/18. I prepaid $5.00 for pads and $5.00 for a dolly. Neither of those items were on the truck. I tried to get a refund at the rental place in Williston, Vt and they told me I had to call the uhau 800 number for that refund. I tried and was on hold for 10 minutes and still no response. I need to have my charges credited for the $10.00 by end of business on Thur. 11/1/18

I reserved a uhaul online and the location never received the reservation but we got 2 confirmation emails. The associated didn't know how to use the software and it took 30 mins to sort it out. We got lucky and they had an extra truck. I got a call later form a separate location that I didn't know saying we had a reservation, when I call them back they were already closed (I called back within 10 mins of them calling me). The lack of communication between uhaul and the store locations made this experience terrible especially when we had a tight deadline and we reserved well far in advance to meet it. We will not be using this service in the future. The truck needed a serious re-alignment, the steering wheel was about 45 degrees off from being straight with the wheels. It was clean tho, I'll give them that.

Some confusion with printing my receipt at home office, wasn't easy to know how to set it so I'd get the entire image of the receipt. Truck ran well! the iPhone process was ok after I found my password. Maybe remind folks to remember their passwords , I don't know, this tech stuff is stressful to me. Truck was fine and accessible for online service. Although I submitted my license three times. Bit frustrating.
