Keep in mind that it takes longer to get the vehicle than anticipated because you are doing all the upfront work - i.e. taking picture of the damages to the vehicle ahead of time, etc. However, the app really makes it simple because you take the pictures from within the app and as a result the pictures are not on your phone. Once completed and you go into get the keys you are off.

We returned our Uhaul within the 24 hour window. We actually returned it same day. No one was in the facility but the staff in Middletown said when we returned our truck to just place the key and contract in the drop box. They did not process our truck return until 9:03am, three minutes post our return time. This caused us to be charged a whole day extra when we did not have the truck. I contacted Uhaul to tell them this and did not receive any response back. Uhaul has the best prices and the best trucks, so I am highly dissatisfied with the lack of outreach from anyone when we had an issue. I am also not happy that the personnel in Middletown potentionally gave us incorrect information causing our drop off to be delayed and forcing us to pay extra for a truck we didn't even have.

Tried automated pick- up. The vehicle was not yet assigned to me (7:30 am) so I had to go into the store to do business. Store owner said there were some issues still such as where to leave key for customer, how to keep vehicle secure until pickup, etc. I returned van after store closing, that worked well on website. A bit annoying with all the photos but I don't know how else it could be done to prove vehicle condition, mileage, and fuel on return. The van was quite new with low mileage, and clean, a very pleasant drive.

My only concern came with the location that I initially selected as an option when I went to book the pickup location. I selected a pickup location and Harwinton that was actually closed and no longer open. It was deceiving to where I was going to be able to pick up the vehicle. This is no reflection on the Winsted location where I picked up the vehicle. My only request would be that you update the locations in your system to reflect only the working locations. My experience otherwise was Top Notch. I was very impressed to see that U-Haul trucks have been updated and are a great deal

the guy behind the counter was very accommodating and try to help resolve my issue that I had with your store in Danbury he want above and beyond trying to resolve the situation and I would definitely recommend this location to anybody your Danbury store is the pits

Location was 1 hour, one way, from my house. Just to pick up tow dolly, I needed to drive 2 hours.

Rental was a little high, but needed to tow car home, should offer lower rate if item only needed 7 hours in my case. A couple of side lights were out on trailer but not a big deal for me as didn't drive at night.

The guy was friendly enough but he was the only one there and was limited to be able to do everything properly. This led to no inspection of the truck or the trailer and ultimately resulted in an extremely poor experience with U-Haul. See comments on other reservations

This was truly the most horrible experience. I rented from this location almost a year ago and called and made a report about how the tail lights were out on the truck and I wasnt able to use it after dark. Unfortunately I had to use Northwest sporting goods again because All-star stoage didn't have any rentals available. When I got in the truck there was less then 3/4 gas, it was 2 margins below. I only drove 13 miles that day. When I went to return the truck I notice the lights on the truck were not working and I had my daughter with me. I drove the truck back to the store and went and bought a gas can and add 2 gallons of gas so I wouldn't have to drive it in the dark withot tail lights. This is 10 months later and they never fixed the truck. God forbid there is an accident because I've reported this twice now. If it wasn't for my fiance following me I could have been rearended. They then went on to charge me the additional gas and refill charge on top of everything else. I can't wait to post this all over.

Clean trucks thoroughly prior to renting so your customer does not have to. THIS INCLUDES THE CAB!!! check the truck in with the customer so that fees and charges are accurate. Provide a tiny bit of CUSTOMER SERVICE to U-Haul customers, not just fisherman, hunters, etc. If you do not want to have a U-Haul business, don't, its that simple. Focus on what you are good at....sporting goods.The lack of enthusiasm and professionalism at your store concerning U-Haul truly shows its not a priority. Extremely discouraging.
