Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Since I had to find someone at the last minute due to the prior company's late notice that they were coming at 4 o'clock when I needed them and had asked for a morning arrival. George from this provider contacted me immediately as soon as I booked them. He got all the information he needed and his crew was there exactly at the time we agreed on. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
The moving company itself was fine. It was U-Haul who is terrible. They gave the movers the wrong size storage containers and then tried to back track and say no mistake was made. All of my items did not fit into the storage container, this was no fault of the movers. The movers in fact were the ones who told me the containers were too small. This has caused me undue stress and additional expenses.
Lifesavers! The movers were professional, patient, reliable, and thorough. They came through for us at a high-stress time. We ended up needing 1 more UBox (they tightly packed the first 3!) and have already booked So-cal Lifters again to again to help us with our last few items tomorrow. Highly recommend.
