    In the end, their supervisor did show up an make it right. However, we had a really awkward and uncomfortable situation that resulted in an additional hour, tension, and delays for everyone. I think it could have been avoided by communicating their concern from the start (about a single piece at the opening of the truck) rather than waiting until they had 10 minutes of time remaining to tell us they needed additional time and people to move the item... as, we could have been using the original two hours to find a solution, dolly, etc.
