  • From the start, the movers offered to disconnect washer and dryer, but didn’t shut off the main water beforehand, so the garage flooded, which set the move back about 30 minutes. Large furniture ended up being brought down and put in truck midway through rather than at the start, therefore it was a challenge to fit everything in. I had to make suggestions for fitting items in, and securing items, as this didn’t seem to be something that was being considered by the movers when finalizing the truck packing. The men were friendly and kind, and they did seem to protect the furniture which I was appreciative of. However, because of the slow movement and loading, and the issue with the washer flooding, I had to pay for extra time since the movers couldn’t complete the task in the time that was recommended to me. Overall, I unfortunately will not be working with this company again in the future.

  • I gave the company a heads-up that my sleeper sofa was very heavy. They assured me experienced movers would be sent. On move day, one man and a petite woman (later revealed to be his girlfriend, not a mover) arrived. They were 15 minutes late, and it took another 30 minutes for the owner to send two real movers. I lost an hour of U-Haul time. We were scheduled for 1230, they didn’t start moving till 140 The replacement movers were kind, but not very efficient. I ended up moving most of my boxes myself. Despite all this, I was still charged full price, and the owner even tried to add an extra charge (which he backed off when I pushed back). In the end, the job got done, but my couch couldn’t fit in the new apartment, not their fault, just added frustration. I stayed understanding throughout, but it’s disappointing that no discount was offered given the major issues. If experienced movers had been sent from the start, the process would have been smoother and far less stressful.
