Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Great service, highly recommended! Needed movers in a pinch to unload a 20ft u-haul during a cross-country move. They scheduled me within 12 hours and fit me in on a Sunday. Joe and Lawrence were awesome! They refused to let me lift a finger, made sure my belongings were handled with care, and finished much faster than expected.
The overall experience was really not good. They scratched and damaged almost every piece of furniture we have. When it was blocked, instead of figuring out what was in the way, they forced the furniture through. We identified multiple boxes as fragile, but they were not handled with care. We have multiple marks on the wall, and I will be charged by my previous landlord to fix them. They were really slow. They took 2h30-3h hours to load the truck with my help and left half of the big items out of the truck after saying multiple times that they were the most important things to load. The truck was not loaded to full capacity, which meant I had to do a second run alone. They were friendly, though, which was nice.
