  • Unloading seemed too rushed and they dropped a few things. No damage done, but could have slowed just a bit. Had to realign garage door sensors because they got bumped.

  • I asked them to try to get everything in trailer, they did but what I did not expect is they did it at cost of damaging a lot of my items. I also tipped them both $100 for saving me a trip back (before I knew things were cracked, scratched, broken beyond repair). He then asked me to Venmo him another $50 as he went over his time by less than 30 min. When I told him I just handed him $100 I got a lecture on tipping.

We were glad to help pack your trailer and truck so efficiently back on March 13th, successfully saving you a second trip from Fresno.Regarding the $50 charge, this was a standard labor fee for the additional 30 minutes worked beyond your original booking. While the crew truly appreciated your generous $100 tip, tips are separate from the actual cost of labor. I apologize that the timing of this request wasn't clearer at the time.It is worth noting that this is the first we are hearing of any damaged items, nearly a month after the job was completed and only after we declined to refund the legitimate $50 labor charge. We take great pride in our work and always encourage clients to report any concerns immediately so they can be addressed. We have already provided all necessary documentation to U-Haul regarding this move and the additional time worked.
