  • We lost our security deposit because of the damage caused by Couple's Moving, LLC (CM). While trying to move a sofa, CM caused significant damage to both a doorway and the sofa. CM failed to provide blankets, plastic wrap, and tape for the move, despite promising to do so via their written estimate, therefore none of my furniture was wrapped or protected in any way. Kareem Britt (owner) acknowledged, both verbally and in writing, difficulty in maneuvering the sofa from the condo. However when I attempted to have damages addressed, Kareem refused to fully compensate for damages CM had caused, offering a settlement of just one fifth the amount repairs actually cost. CM did not offer me any customer protections by way of mover's insurance, dispute resolution, etc., leaving the only option available civil litigation to recoup damages. I have reported CM's business practices to state consumer protection agencies. Would not recommend their services or use them again for future services.
