• This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with movers. They showed up late smelling like marijuana. Both movers (1 male, 1 female) were stoned & working at a slow pace. Neither work together which made the moving harder to complete (Still not done). Once the Uhaul was loaded up the male informed me that he needed to stop & get gas (on my time). Once they showed up to the house the male by himself tried bring down the washer on a dolley. For some reason he let go of the washer (it was not bungeed down) and down came the washer into the wall. It left a huge hole in the wall and destroyed our washer. He stated that he had put in a claim to uhaul and that we would receive a new washer in a couple days. He also said that the wall would be fixed the next day. NEITHER of these things happened. Monday I called Uhaul they informed me that they go through a second party insurer. The movers did NOT report the claim. They also do NOT have insurance. Now they will not respond to me.
