Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
James was super great with communication and was right on time. The guy with him, Leo, was also friendly and pleasant. They worked hard the whole time and finished about 30mins ahead of schedule! Tipped these guys in cash to make sure they appropriately got what they earned!
We scheduled for two hours, and they finished in 1.5 hours. We were still charged for 2 hours, and this fact is particularly annoying because multiple items of furniture were damaged in the move, and this is likely because the movers were not carefully when placing the items in the truck in a secure way. Multiple drawers and a clothing stand was broken. It feels that they went faster than they needed to, and our furniture were damaged as a result. This is quite unfortunate. Otherwise, the movers did accomplish their task, and we were moving out of a 3rd floor walk up so this was appreciated.
