  • I am physically disabled, so I depend on people like Home Town Movers to treat my move like I would if I was doing everything myself. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I trusted the Home Town Movers team to properly pack my moving truck. That did not happen either. The boxes and items were not secured properly and when everything shifted, many of my possessions were squished, smashed, damaged, and obliterated. Furthermore, I had VERY CLEAR labels on all sides of every box, including FRAGILE on boxes that had contents for which extra special care was needed. This Fragile request was summarily ignored because many of my fragile boxes had their contents DESTROYED. When I hire a company to pack my truck, I EXPECT that they have the proper experience and expertise to properly pack a 26 foot UHaul moving truck. I am very disappointed.
