Tldr - movers were 2 hours late for their 2 hour time slot and I was sent $20 via CashApp for compensation. Timeline June 9 - Booked 2 hour slot beginning 1040am on June 28 June 11 - Received request for more details from Jessica + sent info back (no confirmation rec'vd) June 28 - 0743am - Asked Jessica for confirmation that everything was good to go 1051am - Jessica confirmed that everything was good but that the crew was finishing up another job 1135am - Asked Jessica for updates 1136am - Jessica confirmed that crew should be on their way within 5 min and that the job was 30 min away 1228pm - Crew arrives This caused my subsequent U-Haul services to run 2 hours late, incurring over $200 in extra late fees. Total charge by MJ was $106 and three VMs for Jessica later, I was given a 'that's uncontrollable and part of the business' and '$20 compensation for the tardiness'. The service performed was as expected, but the company is too unreliable to book again.
