  • 30 minutes before the 2 movers were scheduled to arrive, I got an email saying, Unfortunately I won’t be able to help you with your move today as I have to deal with a family emergency. Sorry for the inconvenience. No mention of the second person, no effort to send a replacement or offer help. I replied saying they’d put me in a tough spot and asked for suggestions (I couldn’t move couches and mattresses alone). 10 mins later, someone called saying he could come solo, but the price would stay the same as I would have originally paid for 2 people. I was desperate so said ok. He said he'd be there in 30 to 40 mins. 1.5 hours later, no show. I called, no answer. He called back 10 mins later asking if I still needed help. YES! He finally arrived 45 mins after that, but I’d already hired someone else out of desperation. I had to pay both; full price for original booking of 2 people (when only 1 showed up), and then again for the last minute help. Horrible experience. Would not recommend.
