We hired movers mainly to help us move larger items into our truck, but the movers initially only focused on taking smaller items at a time and were taking ample time each trip. In the end, we ended up directing them what larger items we had to have help with and only when we were present did they actually work in a timely fashion. In addition to having to direct them, they also broke our daughter’s desk, a plant, and a leg on our antique entertainment center. We canceled our appointment we had with them the next day to unload the truck. It became even more clear how unprofessional they were when compared to the moving team we used to unload the truck. Velocity Moving moved only a fraction of our items out of a ground floor apartment in 2 hours while the replacement crew moved all of our items into a townhouse within 2 hours.

It is also concerning that the difference in professionalism became so apparent when compared to the team that assisted with your unload. That contrast highlights gaps we must address immediately.
