• Started off as once price and payed more than double by the end...lack of clear comminication and expectations when I spoke to representative from company. Took longer than previous instances of me moving, one person mostly for the loading of the truck, while the other organized mostly leads for longer move times, and other things.

  Customer booked hourly labor through UHauls Moving Help platform, which clearly states that all services are billed by the hour. The customer arrived 30 minutes late to the loading location and 45 minutes late to the unloading location, adding significant time to the job. Additional delays occurred when other storage unit customers blocked access, something the customer witnessed firsthand. This was a full house move that included stairs and many fragile items. Our crew carefully sorted and organized boxes to keep heavy items off delicate ones, exactly as the customer requested after past movers had caused damage. The entire move required eight hours, which is reasonable for the size and conditions, yet we still discounted two full hours as a courtesy. When reminded that the booking was for hourly service, the customer insisted it was supposed to be a flat fee and threatened to leave a negative review if we charged for the additional time created by his own delays.
