Initially was caught by surprise to not see Tommy show up for the job after that’s who texted me all week and was on a schedule he sent me. But the movers PJ and Chris were on time and worked hard. Very nice young men. They were not provided any tools to help in the move, like a dolly would have been nice for them. They had to hand carry all my boxes and furniture down a tight hallway into a small elevator and then down another long hallway to get to my apartment. Hard work but they got it done and on time. They were a little rough with some of the pieces that were valuable and probably could have been handled with care by more professional movers, but again they were doing their best to get some heavy things through tight corners of an old building. I would recommend them and I thank them for their effort. You hear a lot of horror stories about moving help in Chicago, they were definitely NOT one of those!
