This was, without a doubt, the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. The two movers arrived completely unprepared and seemed to have no idea how to pack a UBox. They offered no assistance in wrapping or protecting our belongings - we had to handle all of that ourselves. As customers, we expect guidance and support from professionals, but instead, we were left to figure it out on our own. I have moved several times and always had movers who were knowledgable and took charge, as they are the experts. What should have been a 2.5-hour job dragged on for 8 hours because they inefficiently packed small items first, only to later claim they couldn’t fit our larger furniture. My fiancé had to step in, completely rework their packing, and direct them on how to make everything fit. On top of that, they were careless with our furniture, leaving us anxious about its condition upon arrival.They were very sweet guys, but clearly had no clue what they were doing.

Dear Customer I sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by our team's performance. This was our team's first week, and their inexperience led to the issues you faced. I want to clarify that we are responsible for loading the U-Boxes and delivering them to U-Haul, but packing and wrapping are customer responsibilities. Additionally, the third U-Box was an additional job added during the move, and we have not received payment for it. I apologize for any confusion and will ensure this matter is addressed promptly. I have called repeatedly the moving company and when someone finally picked up, they said it was a private number and they had no idea what I was talking about. I confirmed the phone number with U-Haul- I would suggest removing NYC movers LLC from your list of service providers
