• The provider who showed up was not the one I hired. The company I hired subcontracted to a company that they had not discussed payment terms with yet and the subcontractor showed up expecting to work half the time I requested, likely at a higher price than I requested as they drove 2.5 hours to us. They explained the company I contracted doesn't service the area I hired them from. Turns out this subcontractor doesn't work with Uhaul and didn't know how Uhaul works. For instance, the subcontractor charges extra for stairs so we ended up carrying most of the boxes down the stairs ourselves as they had not discussed that with Best Move. I contacted Uhaul customer service and they explained the arrangement was fine with them, but that makes looking at reviews meaningless if the company you hire can turn around and hire someone else to fulfill the job. Fortunately the movers that showed up were great and took care of us, that's the reason I had to stay at 2 stars instead of dropping to 1.

• The guys did a great job loading my Uhaul. They showed up exactly on time, worked hard the entire time, were thoughtful about how to load the truck, and were careful with my belongings and house. You can’t ask for better than that!

• Thanks for picking up and unloading the stuff with atmost care. I recommend this, if someone is looking at reviews before booking their service.
