  • Young kids got job done within time frame, but fairly unprofessional. Couldn’t have been more than 17 years old I estimate. Granted it was 95 degrees, very hot, but showed up without water, unsure if they knew the scope of the project. Let a loaded dolly escape downhill which narrowly missed a parked car, hitting vapes on non-smoking property, on cell phones texting the entire time, took multiple breaks, at one pt, partially closed the truck door with them inside and when re-opened, one of them was video taping our belongings. I asked a crew next door who was unloading a Uhaul of their own, if they could spare one guy to help with the massive and difficult King mattress (I offered to help them move some smaller things in return), as the kids looked like they were about to pass out, but they seemed frustrated, took personal and got on their phones right away after that, I’m guessing contacting their boss. Just fairly unprofessional, but did get done in time which was appreciated.

    Thank you for the honest feedback. I do apologize for the parts of the experience that felt unprofessional, especially the phone use, vaping concern, and the situation with the dolly. That is not the standard we aim for. Our main experienced crew was out of town this week, and the team assigned to your move was still in training. While they are younger crew members, they still completed the move within the agreed timeframe despite the extreme 95 degree heat and difficulty of the job. I also want to clarify the situation regarding the phone and video inside the truck. The employee was taking photos and video documentation for insurance and liability purposes during the move, not recording your belongings for personal use. We understand how that could have looked concerning without explanation, and we will make sure communication is clearer moving forward. We appreciate the feedback and will use it as part of continued training moving forward.
