Martin and his crew were great help! Martin communicated from booking to move day. They arrived on time, were efficient, professional and easy to work with. If and when I need movers, I will definitely reach out to Movers & Shakers.
The movers broke the footboard of my bed within the first 5 minutes of being in my home and I do understand accidents happen, but they did not even say sorry. Also, they put all the small items in first so I had lamps underneath heavy items. After 2 hours, I told them to leave and that I would finish up. I had to COMPLETELY unpack the entire 20 foot uhaul and reload it so that my items would fit as they loaded all of the small items first and there was so much space left underneath and in between things. I would not recommend this moving service to load your truck, however, I do appreciate that they brought all of my heavy items to the truck which made it easier to repack.
Shai and Donavan Were the movers who helped my husband and myself. They were amazing and very helpful. They arrived early ready to help and worked nonstop. I was impressed with how respectful and kind they were to my husband and myself throughout the entire interaction. They were gentle with our items and asked for confirmation on where to put our things and if how they were handling our things was okay. They moved things quickly up to our third floor apartment. It was easy to text the team with updates or questions as they arose and they provided great clarification and flexibility. I have only great things to say about the service we received. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs and specifically Shai and Donavan as they are hard & great workers.
