Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The move time was rescheduled to a later time before the day of the move. On the day of the move, they rescheduled again to later and showed up 15 minutes late to that time. This resulted in being late to driving to the new city and not making it in time to pick up the keys. They moved everything in 1.25 hours, but I was still charged for 2 hours. Otherwise, they were good and respected what I wanted moved at the time.
Janisha and Samuel were absolutely incredible! They communicated very thoroughly and quickly via text to arrange the move. On the day they arrived exactly when they said they would and managed to get everything downstairs in just two trips in our service elevator. They packed our u-box so efficiently and quickly that we were surprised there was still space. Not only were they incredibly professional and fantastic at moving our items, but they were very kind and friendly as well! I can’t recommend them enough.
Andy and Melvin were great! They lifted a lot of heavy furniture and had a great attitude! They were very careful and very polite about our special furniture and where to place it!
