• The lead mover adamantly assured me that he was experienced, would pack everything into the truck carefully, and that nothing would be damaged, even turning down my offers to help and provide guidance as to loading, as I had successfully loaded the same truck, with the same items, a year prior, however, items were damaged. I found this particularly egregious, as 12 moving blankets and dozens of cardboard pieces that were intended for placing in between items, were left unused. Furthermore, I was not informed about the damage, which I found to be unprofessional, as of course I would notice it when unloading the truck. Had they been more open to suggestion, and careful, the damages would have easily been avoided. I said at least three times that certain items were tricky and that I could help, but was told repeatedly that my help was unnecessary, yet evidently it would have been beneficial, so I was very disappointed. In hindsight, I should have been more assertive...would not hire again
