  • The two fellows from David's Mighty Men appeared to know what they were doing when they loaded our things however when we checked the load after going about 200 miles down the road we were shocked! The tie downs that they installed to secure our things had broken free and the whole load shift towards the back door of the truck. As a result some of our boxes were crushed and our dining room table suffered some damage as well as some minor damage to other pieces of furniture.. I texted David's Mighty Men some pictures of what happened just for their info but they never responded. I wish this survey would let me upload some pictures to show you what happened but it doesn't. I wonder why not?

    Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry your items shifted and were damaged. For long hauls we always recommend ratchet straps or tie downs and moving blankets, both available at Uhaul. We also offered SafeLoad insurance, which was declined. In this case we followed the loading method you requested instead of our usual stacking approach. We were not driving the truck and recommend checking the load halfway on longer trips. We received your text with photos and apologize for the delayed reply.
