I hired two movers to help me move from one storage unit to another. Both young men arrived on time, listened carefully to directions, and were extremely helpful and polite throughout the job. The one issue was that my white couch ended up with some black smudges. The couch was already in place in the space, and while moving a mattress with a cover on it, they had to lift the mattress over the couch. They didn’t lift it high enough to clear it, so it rubbed against the couch, transferring dirt that had collected on the cover from being dragged down the corridor. I don’t think this was intentional just an oversight in judging the clearance needed, but it’s worth noting for future moves. Overall, a positive experience with courteous, hardworking movers. I’d just suggest extra care when maneuvering items that could transfer dirt onto upholstered furniture.
