  • Never called to fully schedule time for movers to arrive at my house. I called. They said 9a-10a for arrival. I called at 10.15a to ask where they were. Said they'd be there around 11a. 2 boys showed up. They were both great during loading. 1 boy had to take a call during my time with what I assume was a potential lawyer to take his underage possession of a firearm on school property case. Yes this kid was a minor. Broke a bunch of my vintage, irreplaceable glassware (yes box was marked). Broke my coffee table and would not put my refrigerator where it needed to go (because he doesn't like doing that). Had to pay for extra time, even though the kid had to take a call for almost 30 minutes. Ended up costing more than my original hourly rate. Owner did nothing to reimburse my broken items. I did tip each boy $20 because I know 4 hours is a lot, regardless.
