Deshun and Brandon did an amazing unload for me today! They were respectful, courteous, received direction well, and were quick, ensuring there was no time overage. The only issue we had wasn’t the movers fault. It’s Uhauls. The way they set up the scheduling. Uhaul schedules without verifying there is availability with the movers. They don’t schedule a time. They only ask if you want morning, afternoon or evening and book it. Then you have to call the mover to schedule the time. Luckily they were able to accommodate us. But not the time we had hoped for but they did have to tell others when they called they were booked. The movers said they will be on a job and 6 requests will come in for the same day. Uhaul needs to get a better system. Had they not been able to accommodate we would have been scrambling to find new movers or would have had to change the truck rental. Uhaul is making it more difficult than it should be. There should be a system in place that tracks availability of the movers on the platform so they don’t over book and clients have a realistic expectation. We already tipped cash fyi
